Excellent

September 2010 - We thoroughly enjoyed Appartamento Wagner and will book again on our next trip to the Amalfi Coast.

The service was EXCELLENT. Everyone was friendly and helpful! This is a real strength for the villa.

Travel tips

  • Appartamento Wagner is at the lower level of the villa directly on the sea so there are numerous steps to climb to reach the street level. While this was not a problem for us it might be more difficult for older guests.

September 2009 - Nice place, our impression from staying was only positive, only the stairs ...

Summer In Italy services are high-level.

Travel tips

  • Look forward to a pleasant stay.

July 2006 - It is clearly very upmarket and provides for a wonderful holiday.

If you are that way inclined, you can stay most days at the property, it is so scenic. The location is very central for the sights, and there is a wonderful view of the property from Villa Cimbrone in Ravello.

The furniture in the bedrooms is antique, but if you do not know this, you might think it is just old and inadequate.

Situation is great, and the Med couldn't be closer. The grounds are well kept and very relaxing. The staff, particularly Dominic, are very helpful, and they contribute much of the Italian 'feel' of the place.

There is a comment on your website from a previous guest to the effect that the sun leaves the terrace at 11 a.m. While this may be true, other parts of the property, including the pool, enjoy sunshine right through most of the afternoon, and quite honestly it is so hot in the summer that a place out of the sun is most welcome.

August 2004 - Appartment Wagner's setting is sublime. The view of the bay and the 2 villages is excellent. The sea laps against the rocks 15 metres below the windows - very atmospheric after dark.

The swimming pool and swimming in the sea were very close. Breakfast was outstanding on the shaded terrace.

The appartment is designed for 3 people. We were 4 (an extra bed was included and it suited us very well).

The staff team were extremely courteous and helpful. There is a just-large-enough (and locked, but accessible at night)car park on the other side of the road.

The sun leaves Appt Wagner by 11 am which may not suit some guests, but enabled us to keep cool! No lunch or supper is provided and there is no bar. Advantages: we went out for meals; there was no drunken behaviour by other guests and the place was not littered with empty glasses and bottles.

Yes, indeed the sun leaves the private terrace of the apartment quite early. However consider that at the villa you will be able to enjoy the sun on one of the many shared terraces or by the pool.

July 2004 - Appartamento Wagner was spectacular for its views and its gardens. But I would advise that if you don't like going up and down stairs it's not the place for you. In retrospect, we feel that this is definitely a little piece of heaven.

October 2002 - The villa is a gem on the Amalfi coast.I would think there are few villas that are as charming and beautiful as this.

From gazing at the sea from your balcony to picking figs from their fig tree, the villa has much to be desired and is a perfect place for those who appreciate the history and style of Italia. It is like a gift waiting to be opened.

Unfortunately, Appartamento Wagner can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
