June 2012 - Appartamento Tamarindo was fantastic!

It was modern and beautifully furnished with everything we could want. I can't say enough good things.

It was a big workout getting down to Positano and back up to the apartment but it meant we didn't feel so guilty about all the pizza and pasta and mozzarella and wine and limoncello and gelati!

Travel tips

  • My partner got locked in the bathroom and I had I unlock the door from the outside. We just decided not to lock the door after that!
  • Our favourite restaurant was Restaurant Da Vincenzo. We absolutely recommend it!!

June 2011 - We stayed in the Appartamento Tamarindo for a week. The apartment is completely renovated, it's modern, clean and well furnished, and was exceptionally comfortable.

The staff at Summer in Italy, were extremely helpful and very professional and no detail was left out. I will definitely go through them again for my next Italy accommodation.

Travel tips

  • As far as the location we did not mind the many steps to the beach, however, if climbing and descending many steps a day is a problem, I would not stay here. (There is a bus every half hour that you can take).
  • One of the location pluses is that it's quiet and you're mingling with locals as opposed to staying in the busy Positano Square.
