Travel tips

  • Must have a car. Hard to find the place at night for the first time, arrive during the day.
  • Surrounded by lots of vineyards, actually just in front of the complex, you can purchase wine there.
  • Very comfortable and nice place to stay and relax.

July 2011 - We enjoyed our stay very much. The kids loved the pool and the apartment was great.

This is our third time using Summer in Italy and I would definitely use you again. I often recommend you to friends.

Travel tips

  • It was a little warm, it would be nice if they had screens on the windows so we could open them to get some air.
  • There were lots of bees and small lizards, which my kids loved.

July 2011 - The four of us who stayed at Appartamento Raniero C enjoyed it immensely. It was one of our favorite places for the whole month we spent in Italy.

The manager was helpful and very accommodating.

We are looking forward to coming back.

I have mentioned Summer in Italy to several people (and I think I referred to you in my blog for the few friends following us on our trip). The pictures and descriptions of the properties on the website are accurately represented. Prices are reasonable and the information package was very helpful.

I found you when I was going to book a truffle-tasting tour and was referred to you for vacation rentals. What luck. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time and the ease of working with Summer in Italy. Thank you!

Travel tips

  • You can't beat Siena. It is such a beautiful, clean, well kept town. While in Siena, a great salumeria (Deli) is Antica Pizzicheria Chigiana (Palazzio dei Chigiano). We brought back enough to last us all week.
  • Don't miss Chianti, especially the little towns around there, such as Radda in Chianti.
  • Wine tasting at Il Borgo di Vescine was great.
