June 2010 - We loved Appartamento Lalla. It was perfectly located right in the heart of Positano quite close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It was in the area of town closed to vehicular traffic which was great. If you have a car, there is parking close by.

The apartment was wonderful with 15 foot ceilings and beautiful tiled floors. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and a beautiful bathroom. The living room has a separate area with full size bed which was quite private and had its own bathroom. There is a washing machine in the kitchen which we used everyday for our bathing suits and clothes. There is a phone in the apartment as well as a television. The bedroom and living room open onto a narrow terrace which has spectacular views of Positano, the church and the ocean.

The people were very nice as was the owner and her family and everyone spoke English.

We were so impressed with Summer in Italy. Our stay couldn't have been better. Thank you to Summer in Italy and to Signora Tanina [the owner of Appartamento Lalla]!

September 2008 - Loved our stay in Appartamento Lalla - a lovely big airy apartment right in the centre of Positano and minutes away from the beach.

The gardens of the Palazzo Murat below our apartment - which we had use of - were lovely, cool and peaceful, and the staff at the hotel were very helpful if we had queries.

Because of our late arrival, didn't see the owner or caretaker at all - no-one came to take our deposit etc. or check our departure. No problem, but did stay around the apartment the first couple of days expecting someone to call.

Very impressed with SummerInItaly. Excellent clear description of property, clear instructions for arrival etc, and lots of useful information on your website. Had several email conversations with members of your staff, and a couple of phone calls during our stay, and you were all extremely helpful and informative. Would definitely be the first company I'd look at for future holidays in Italy. Thank You.

September 2006 - We had a great time at this apartment.

The location is perfect. It is very close to the beach, there are lots of good shops and restaurants near by, and since it is well below the street (in the pedestrian area), it is much more quiet than other parts of Positano.

I would definitely stay there again, and I would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was lovely. Your description of the property is very accurate. We missed being up high with the panoramic views, but its location was very convenient to the beach and shopping.

August 2006 - Very enchanting. Our family of 4 so much enjoyed our stay at Appartamento Lalla. It was home for a week and we absolutely loved every single minute of it.

Taking it all in, the privacy and tranquility in the centre of everything good; shopping, restaurants, walking around, touring, beach, friendly people, and perfect rest and relaxation.

We highly recommend Appartamento Lalla to anyone wanting to be in the centre of everything, and wanting privacy and beauty at the same time.

Very suitable for adults travelling with teens. We would return in a heartbeat.

August 2006 - Appartamento Lalla is a beautiful accommodation.

The interior of Appartamento Lalla is huge and accurately described in all the materials. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but there is a small store nearby that has everything you could purchase to prepare meals.

It is very close to stores, restaurants, an internet cafe and the beach, which made it easy for our 16 year old son to go places without us and we felt he was completely safe in Positano.

We highly recommend this accommodation.

You are terrific! Our trip was flawless and we would highly recommend Summer in Italy to our friends and family.

July 2006 - It was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in!!! I couldn't wait to contact you with our feedback.

The hosts were kind, helpful and inspiring. They made every effort to make our stay wonderful, which it was.

Every morning I would open the large shuttered doors and look out at the colors of Positano and take in smells from the garden.

It's location inside a lovely palace, once lived in by Napoleon's brother in law, makes it even more special. The restaurant is right downstairs, as is the fragrant garden.

Thank you for everything. It was truly one of the most perfect vacations we've ever had. The apartment was beautiful, as was the view from the terrace, and the luscious scents from the garden.

It was a dream holiday. I will most definitely return.
