October 2011 - We enjoyed our stay at Appartamento Gaspare.

We are two active retired couples. The apartment is located in a quiet street about 3 min walk from the #46 bus which gives direct access to the Vatican (2 stops) and Piazza Venezia (end of line), which puts you close to all the sights of Rome. The Vatican is within about 15 min walking. Stazione Termini and Fumicino Airport are both easily accessed by taxi.

The owner met us at the apartment and gave us good information about Rome using a map.

Travel tips

  • There isn't a supermarket in the local area. Use the local store (3 min walk) to buy immediate essentials and then look for a market/supermarket.
  • There is a good "Roman" restaurant less than 10 min walk from the apartment.

Unfortunately, Appartamento Gaspare can not be booked at this time.
