Excellent

August 2011 - Great place. I would recommend this to all of my friends.

The location was in Sorico which is in the northern part of Lake Como. It was a close drive to Colico where you can do some serious grocery shopping and rent scooters, etc.

The pool was nice and busy with other guests. The apartment itself was clean and very functional with a large bathroom. We made a last minute reservation so there were no 2 bedrooms left. They allowed us to sleep 5 in the single studio type apartment. It worked but I wouldn't necessarily recommend that many people in one room. They also brought in an extra cot for the 5th person at no charge. Great staff, the air conditioner worked great. I would go there again next year in a heartbeat but my wife wants to go to a "new area"... so I may have to wait a year or two before I can go back.

By the way, the restaurant adjacent to the apartment has excellent food. Many nights we would order pizzas and/or pasta dishes for take out and then make our own side dishes and drinks. That helped reduce the expense of our trip.

Underground parking garage was also nice. Rooms were quiet, there was Internet, and even TV which is fun to watch if you only speak English.

Great web site and were quick to respond to any issues or questions we had. Will likely use your services again when we travel back to Italy.
