July 2007 - Appartamento Ambrogio was the highlight of a 28 day European vacation.

Spectacular views, a wonderful staff, clean comfortable rooms.

Breakfast included with the best cappuccinos in Italy.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hour kayak (free for guests) along the Amalfi coast.

June 2007 - We loved Appartamento Ambrogio! It was the best part of our trip to Italy.

The villa is beautiful, the area is incredible and I can't say enough good things about the people who work at the villa. Everyone went over and above to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Dominic and Piero took such good care of us!

October 2006 - We all enjoyed our stay in Apartment Ambrogio. The location is great.

The apartment was private and very clean. The two bedrooms were spacious and there was a large bathroom between the bedrooms. The verandah was not very wide but good enough to sit on, have a glass of wine, read a book and look at the beautiful view.

The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked really well. Minibar was handy to have.

The outdoor breakfast area, pool, gardens and ocean access were fantastic.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car parking across the road.

Summer in Italy was professional and easy to deal with.

May 2005 - This was one of the most fantastic vacations I have ever had, and Appartamento Ambrogio was a major player in that fact.

You can't beat the view. The breakfast is gorgeous. The service was friendly and wonderful. Piero [the caretaker] was always helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home and help us on our way.

The balcony in this unit is very large... it's offset from the cliff a bit but the breeze, view, and privacy are fantastic.

September 2004 - We truly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. We celebrated our son's wedding in Amalfi and the staff was very helpful with anything that we needed. We appreciated and want to thank Dominic [a memember of the staff] for everything that he helped us with and all his kindness.

Our son, James, and his new bride, Sarah, will never forget their wedding in Amalfi, the absolutely breathtaking view from the apartment, and the kindness from all the staff.

We will definitely return to the villa again, God willing.

September 2004 - We had a wonderful stay at Appartamento Ambrogio. The apartment was lovely, with a great outlook.

The staff at the Villa were fantastic - friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace every morning overlooking the sea was sublime.

August 2003 - We had a lovely time at Appartamento Ambrogio. Everyone was very helpful - especially Domenic & Piero. The breakfast ladies and cleaners were also lovely. The apartment was cleaned every day.

The gardens were beautiful and well looked after. I would certainly recommend this villa to friends.

Also, Italian driving skills made me very nervous! We had a hire car and I was not confident enough to drive - my husband did all the driving. Several times I thought we were going to be in a collision - until my husband decided he had to be as assertive a driver as the Italians!

Overall, we were very happy with our holiday - thank you.

June 2003 - Since my return home from Apartmento Ambrogio, I've found myself checking online to see that it is still there. That indeed it wasn't just a dream.

From the moment we entered the Villa gate we were enchanted beyond our dreams, and specifically, beyond the beauty that had already captured our imagination over the internet website! Every moment, every inch of the place was worthy of note!

There was not much need to even leave the Villa because everything I was hoping to find for myself in Italy was there, on the sea. Among new friends, among the lemons, among hundreds of sculptures, old stone, and ever abundant and brilliant bouganvilla.

Piero [the caretaker] opened up his personal knowledge of what's good in the surrounding areas, setting forth for us some of the most magnificent experiences of my life. All of the personnel were lovely. Cappucinos in the company of friends was a brilliant way to start each day.

 Nowhere but at the Villa can you experience a day so close to what Heaven serves, I do believe. It's where the sun finds respite. It's where the moon lives and breathes. I look forward to my return.

October 2002 - The villa is a gem on the Amalfi coast. I would think there are few villas that are as charming and beautiful as this.

From gazing at the sea from your balcony to picking figs from their fig tree, the villa has much to be desired and is a perfect place for those who appreciate the history and style of Italia. It is like a gift waiting to be opened.
