Casa Mircea, Praiano

Casa Mircea is a cozy and welcoming independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps four people. From Casa Mircea you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi. Casa Mircea is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be approximately 800 meters (half a mile) from the center of Praiano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find a grocery store at 200 meters (660 feet) and the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Praiano line at 170 meters (560 feet). You will reach Casa Mircea from the main entrance of the building going down approximately 18 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Casa Mircea. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 300 meters (330 yards), for a fee, in a garage. The parking space is suitable for up to two cars. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you (availability is limited; if you think you will need parking please inquire before placing your reservation). If necessary, you can park free of charge or for a fee along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

The swimming pool is 2 meters (6.5 feet) large by 7 meters (23 feet) long, 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a semicircular shape. The area is equipped with a sun umbrella and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a characteristic view of the sea and of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. Here you will find also a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board at your disposal. From the terrace you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi.

The garden is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by lemon and orange trees. The garden is used as a vegetable garden and you will be able to pick up available vegetables according to the season.

The furnishings of the living room are bright and agreeable. The furnishings include a sofa and a pouffe which unfolds in a single bed (available upon request with an additional cost -- please contact our staff in advance). The dining table can accommodate five guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has no windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through an arched opening. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. From the kitchen a double-glazed French door will take you to the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline. The room also has a double-glazed window with a view of the sea and of the coastline.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The ceiling is vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has a double-glazed window with a view of the sea and of the coastline. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a chromotherapeutic shower, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room through a corridor. The ceiling is vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has a double-glazed window with a view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a safe. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a large fully-enclosed shower.
