Casa Armonia, Positano

Casa Armonia is a characteristic ancient house situated in a quiet location, a few minutes from the town center. It sleeps four people. From Casa Armonia you will enjoy a fascinating view of Positano and of the sea. Casa Armonia is 90 square meters (970 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 300 meters (990 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 50 meters (165 feet) and the closest beach (Fornillo Beach) at roughly 800 meters (half a mile). You will reach Casa Armonia from the street level going up a short public route that includes approximately 110 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Casa Armonia. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

The terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a deck chair and an external shower. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of Positano and of the sea.

The first living room is paved with tiles with handmade decoration, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are classic, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa, an armchair and a desk. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the second living room from the first living room through an arched opening. The floor is paved with tiles with handmade decoration, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are classic. The furnishings include a sofa and a chaise longue. There is an age-old fireplace. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the second living room climbing three steps. It is in a rustic style, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine. The kitchen has a small window.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the terrace. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a chaise longue. You will also find a grand piano. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom first bedroom or from the bathroom. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window.

The bathroom is decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with shower wand. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the first living room and from the second bedroom.
