Appartamento Lapo A is a characteristic and welcoming apartment located in the historic center of Florence, at a short distance from Palazzo Pitti and from Ponte Vecchio (old bridge). It sleeps two people. From Appartamento Lapo A you will have a view of the nearby buildings. Appartamento Lapo A is 45 square meters (485 square feet). It features air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the historic center of Florence, a few steps from restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the bus stop at 100 meters (330 feet).
Appartamento Lapo A is located on the ground floor of an ancient building. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building without having to climb any steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Appartamento Lapo A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a parking lot (where a space can be reserved). Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
The Lapo apartments are part of a three storey ancient building made up of 8 apartments renovated for the holidays. You will find that the decor is warm and welcoming as well as antique tiled floors and ceilings with exposed wooden beams.
You will be centrally located a few steps from the banks of the river Arno and the Ponte Vecchio, one of the main bridges of Florence.
In the surroundings you will have restaurants and shops, you will be a short distance from the major cultural attractions of Florence that will take you back in time to the wonderful period of the Renaissance.
You will be able to reach the laundry room from the main entrance hall going down 14 steps. Here you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).
The living room is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The furnishings are warm and welcoming. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed (available upon request with an additional cost -- please contact our staff in advance). In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a microwave/oven combo, a small refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a grated French door. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
In the living room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it climbing 12 steps. The furnishings of the mezzanine include a bedroom chair and a desk. The mezzanine has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The ceiling is vaulted. On the mezzanine level there is a bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
