But the symbolic cultivation of Sorrento and its surroundings are the citrus plantations.Coming in these places the tourist is immediatly impressed by the blue of the sea, but also by the gree of the citrsu trees, dotted by the fruits' yellow-orange. Vico Equense is the frist town on the peninsula if you come by car or by train, overlooked by the highest mountain of Lattari Mountains, the Faito (1444 mt.), and carrying on we can find the little village of Seiano.![]() Once gone beyond the "Scutolo Cape", an wonderful sight is to the visitor, witch can admire the plane of Sorrento, softly "subsided on the sea" and wrapped by the trasparent light blue sky. Fristly he would be recived by the "maritime" Meta, so Piano, S. Agnello, until the most famous Sorrento, and at the end delightful Massa Lubrense, the extreme point of the peninsula. A charming sight of Capri is enjoyable from here.Today these places, regarded as valuable touristic destinations since the last century, offer several chances per for the tourists witch could join in the same holiday naturalistic beauties, from the sea to the mountains, and culural excursion, finding out again these little historical tows, litte "jewels" still unknown to many people.
