Discover the charming Cilento National Park!

The bay of Ogliastro MarinaWould you believe that just a few miles off the usual tourists' routes lies an enchanting mix of culture, art, nature and folklore?

The Cilento National Park is in Italy, in the southern part of the gulf of Salerno.

In Cilento unaffected landscapes are populated by the genuine hospitality of the inhabitants.

The eye is captured by beautiful nuances of green and blue, which mix where the rocky coasts dive into the sea. Fantastic sandy beaches wait for those who wish to swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea.

The village of AgnoneTiny seaports, gorgeous bays and white, pink and yellow little houses complete the unique scenarios that can't be found anywhere else.

History was so fascinated by this land that it simply could not leave. The ancient Greek temples of Paestum and the excavations of Velia still stand where the ancestors of mankind built them in 500 B.C.

It also seems that Cilento has been able to make a deal with the weather: summer, with its shining sun, lasts from the end of April to the beginning of October.

And, for those who long to admire some of the most beautiful and well-known places in the world, Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia, Positano and the Amalfi Coast - to name a few - are all within reach of a day trip. And at night you'll get the chance to relax in this magic place where time has stopped and stress and chaos are unheard of.
