Fantastic

October 2013 - We enjoyed Villa Serenatella enormously - this is a lovely villa, in a beautiful location. The pool area especially has fantastic views (but so does the terrace). The villa is beautifully decorated and furnished.

The only negatives were a problematic electrical supply in the kitchen - the fuse kept tripping when the kettle and cooker were on at the same time, and that the shower in the main bathroom was a strange design - the cubicle wasn't big enough for the large overhead shower, and water ended up on the bathroom floor unless you were very careful.

Apart from these things, it was a well maintained property, very clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and lives quite close by if you have any problems. We arrived VERY late on our first night, bedraggled after a very long journey, and he was very patient and helpful with us.

Summer in Italy was an absolute pleasure to do business with from start to finish. Very helpful, lots of information provided, a nice friendly, humorous attitude.

Unfortunately, Italy homes enjoy a limited amount of electric power: turning on at the same time appliances that consume more than the allowed amount results in a breaker tripping. Italians learn this in their childhood (you can imagine!) and are invariably surprised when they learn that homes abroad do not have this limitation. :-)

Travel tips

  • Use the bug-killer plug-ins, even in October!
  • Marina del Cantone is VERY quiet in October - not all restaurants open, not many people around.

Excellent

April 2012 - It was absolutely wonderful and Alfonso, Marco and Olga [the owners] could not have been more accommodating. It was an incredible experience and so reasonably priced.

Great photos and so true to what you actually get.

Travel tips

  • Plan a driver for long day trips up the Amalfi Coast.
  • Be sure and go to Capri for a day.

Excellent

October 2010 - Our stay in Villa Serentatella B was amazing: it was the nicest place we ever stayed.

The photos did not do it justice. Everything in the villa was completed to the highest specifications.

Alfonso, the villa owner was very helpful and very friendly.

We would definitely consider going back to rent.

Travel tips

  • You will need a car.

June 2010 - Villa Serenatela B was wonderful and very comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family of 4.

It is well-appointed and we found everything that we needed.

Travel tips

  • Plan on a longer-than-expected drive from Naples. Summer in Italy gives great driving instructions, but you need to be on your toes in and around Sorrento and Termini so as not to miss any signs.
  • Get to know the local proprietors. They are great.
  • Take time to charter your own boat for a quiet trip to Positano and to see the coast line.
  • Nerano is a quaint little town and the beaches of Marina Del Cantone, though rocky, are pristine and relaxing.

Unfortunately, Villa Serenatella B can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
