September 2012 - Villa Saveria E is a beautiful place with an attentive owner, Mrs Lorella, providing a wine tasting and a meal each week. She is an excellent hostess and business woman, and her staff are ever helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything is very well done.

Travel tips
- Ensure you have a car, and sample the estate's Chianti wine.
- Visit Casole d'Elsa nearby and the Coop supermarket at Poggibonsi. Also the castle at Stagione.

July 2010 - We, 6 New Zealanders, loved staying here and wished we'd booked in for 2 weeks !
The location is excellent with many great hill-towns only a short car ride away.
The countryside is very lovely.
Loretta and family are warm hosts - very friendly and helpful.
The restored buildings, pool and grounds (and kittens) very lovely also.
Travel tips
- Colle Val D'Elsa is a lovely town - particularly the old part on the hill, as is Casole D'Elsa - also very close...
- Monteriggioni: nice for dinner or wall walk but little there...
- San Gimignano, Volterra and all the famous ones, but have a night at home too - there is a BBQ and try some of the house wine...
