September 2015 - After the climb up to the apartment via the access steps the best part of Villa Ritanna D: the view overlooking the whole bay. The interior was comfortable but we thought it could do with a good clean and a little modernisation. That said it is still very comfortable and we did enjoy our stay.

I have used Summer In Italy twice and both times everything has been easy and well organized.

  • A boat trip to Capri is a must.

June 2012 - What a beautiful place. Peaceful and amazing view with private balcony and jacuzzi as mentioned on the website.

Also, the location is much better than we thought. Much more restaurants to go to within walking distance. Enjoyed the fact that it is remote from the other touristic locations ie: Positano and Sorrento. Good to go for the day as a visit however great to be back at the Villa in the early part of the evening for a jacuzzi and then dinner in Marina Del Cantone!

Highly recommended.

Travel tips

  • For sure you require a car to access the location and must be a good driver that is not afraid of curbs and fast passing motorcycles.
  • There are at least two places in Marina Del Cantone to buy the necessary items for cooking, amenities, etc however do bring lots of cash since no ATM machine as was already mentioned by one of the guests.
  • Day trip was to Sorrento and also Pompeii... no problem at all timewise.

  • Taverna Il Capitano is a "fine restaurant" with small portions and high prices. If you are hungry choose another restaurant.
