December visit to the coast

December 2019 - Amazing. I highly recommend. Incredible villa great location. Maria [the caretaker] was incredibly helpful. Best stay.

Truly spectacular location on the top of the cliffs

October 2019 - Truly spectacular location on the top of the cliffs nestled alongside the boutique hotels. Terrace giving uninterrupted view of Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. 15 minute walk into town.

Maria (the caretaker) fantastic. She had left a stocked fridge and gave us a lift to the supermarket for our big shop (and waited for us for the lift back). She arranged taxi transfers for us and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.

During our week we had trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri and Positano, but we all felt our favourite place was on the terrace with a glass of wine. A very good week.

Plenty of bedrooms for privacy and space to spend time together as well

October 2019 - Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Primosole!

It is a great venue for families. Plenty of bedrooms for privacy and space to spend time together as well. There is even a ping pong table in the courtyard! The property is beautiful!

Summer In Italy was easy to work with. Very responsive and eager to help.

The view from the upper deck is breathtaking

September 2019 - Villa Primosole is beautifully situated overlooking the Mediterranean. The view from the upper deck is breathtaking.

The house is nicely appointed and comfortable for a larger group. We had seven adults and it was plenty big enough for all of us.

August 2019 - If I can sum up this vacation rental in one word...AWESOME! For visitors with 8 or more guests it is the perfect place to stay. My family of 12 stayed here for a week and we had such an amazing stay.

Not only is the house beautiful but the grounds are gorgeous with more than enough space both inside and outside.

Luca our host was exceptional, clear communication and extremely easy to get a hold of and had answers for all of my questions.

Again if you plan a stay here in Sorrento check out Luca’s place I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Primosole!

August 2019 - We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Primosole! The garden is spacious and there is plenty of parking. We also felt very safe in this gated home.

We really feel that this villa is a great place to stay and would return if ever in Sorrento.

The staff is very accommodating. They made arrangements for our excursions and dinners.

I found Summer In Italy easy to work with. I liked the option of being able to stay for only a few days and not have to stay for a whole week. Our time in Italy was limited and we wanted to also go to Rome. Luca was very helpful in many ways. He gave us ideas on what to do and made arrangements for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

July 2019 - The villa was great, view from top deck was amazing.

Maria [the caretaker] was extremely attentive and helpful - even drove us to the grocery store and a local pool!

You can not ask for more

June 2019 - We stayed for four days at the villa with a group of friends (8 in total). We had a great stay. The house/kitchen is well equipped. Spacious bedrooms and well cleaned. Great beds. In short you can not ask for more.

What made the stay unforgettable was the service we received from Maria our contact person at the villa. The first evening she and her friends (Mariella and I forget the other girls name, sorry), prepared us a 4 course dinner which was excellent. Even a trip to the supermarket with Mariella (because we did not have a car) was no problem. Any advice or information we needed was taken care of. In short a great stay with great people and a great view.

Summer in Italy was a joy to work with. I had email conversations with a couple of people from Summer in Italy and the were all great. Responding quickly if you had a question and offering good service when needed. During our stay we mostly had contact with Luca and he was great. Unfortunately we did not meet, Hopefully next time. Because I would definitely us Summer in Italy again for future vacations.

Villa Primosole was absolutely wonderful

May 2019 - Villa Primosole was absolutely wonderful.

First and foremost the owner/contact from Summer In Italy was fantastic - so responsive, so helpful - we've never had a better experience.

The villa is spacious with lots of light and wonderful views/terraces, bedrooms are comfortable and large and bathrooms very nice. The gardens are wonderful - our family loved playing ping pong at the end of the day - as is the rooftop terrace where you have a great view of the water and boats entering Sorrento. Location is also great - away from all the crowds but easy walk into town.

We loved our time at Villa Primosole, wished we had stayed longer and highly recommend.

I will highly recommend Summer In Italy to anyone going to Italy. Feel so lucky that we found them.

Beautiful and spacious

May 2019 - The villa is beautiful and spacious. Our party of 8 had plenty of room. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the views of the harbor, Bay of Naples, and Vesuvius.

The hosts were very responsive to any small issues and generous with food and drink that they provided as gifts.

Booking went very smoothly.

A gorgeous villa with amazing views.

April 2019 - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Primosole. The property was gorgeous. The view amazing. The bedrooms and family room comfortable for a large group.

The property owner, Luca, was absolutely wonderful to work with and could not have done anything better. Maria who cared for the house went out of our way to help with anything we needed to include transportation, reservations, and groceries.

Booking company was easy to work with, easy to communicate and provided plenty of information to make our trip simple.

February 2019 - Great views, great host, great location, great for large groups or families!

Villa Primosole was really fantastic. A great traditional family villa located right on the cliff side for amazing views of Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

We stayed with a total of 9 (5 children) and had more than enough space. The villa is incredibly clean with a vintage feel and well groomed garden with orange, lemon and olive trees. Really a hidden gem down a very private driveway. Bedrooms had good sized beds with clean linens along with air conditioning units (though we used the heating function for a Feb stay).

Luca and Maria [the owners] were top notch hosts, very attentive, very responsive and ultimately very welcoming. It was a really nice touch to arrive with some snacks and drinks already stocked for us, but Luca and Maria helped us with getting additional groceries and we even took advantage of their offer to have a traditional Neapolitan dinner cooked for our group in the villa one evening. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

All in all, I cannot say enough great things about Luca, Maria and the villa. I would absolutely recommend this to family and friends and would definitely consider staying here again if we ever return for a summer holiday.

October 2018 - Villa Primosole was beautiful inside and out! The views of the Bay of Naples are incredible and the garden is a wonderful place to relax. The home has been immaculately cared for and you feel like you’ve gone back in time to a more glamorous time. The villa is centrally locates to all the beautiful destinations the Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast have to offer. Pictures don’t do this gem justice. Ample bedroom and bathrooms accommodate a large group. We made wonderful memories that we will cherish for a lifetime!

We were warmly greeted by Luca and Maria [the owners]. They had stocked the fridge and even ran for some more things after our arrival.

Experience with Summer In Italy was very easy and reliable.

Had a great time

October 2018 - We stayed at Villa Primosole for 6 days and had a great time. The accommodations were excellent, very spacious and comfortable. The view was outstanding and we sat on the deck every afternoon and enjoyed the view while drinking wine and enjoying appetizers.

We used the villa as our base to visit Capri, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento and it was within walking distance to the harbor and downtown Sorrento.

Summer In Italy was great, kept us well informed and gave us plenty of information for our vacation. I would certainly use them again in the future.

Loved Villa Primosole

September 2018 - Loved Villa Primosole - it is a beautiful house and setting away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, but still central enough to walk everywhere in town and to easy public transport options to get you farther afield.

Owner was fantastic - and even stocked us up with local specialties and beer as a starter.

Highly recommend Villa Primosole

September 2018 - Our family of 11 had a wonderful stay at Villa Primosole. There was plenty of room for everyone.

The rooftop deck had fantastic views of the sea and surrounding areas. In the evening we opened our Stargazing app and saw a whole different sky than we do back home in the US.

The bedrooms were great with many bathrooms. The backyard was amazing. The fruit trees and flowers all over the property were in bloom and beautiful.

All in all we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us. We can not say enough about how wonderful he was.

We hope to be back for a visit in the near future!

Beautiful location

August 2018 - Beautiful and comfortable property! We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Ours was a group of 16 people.

The position was also excellent, and we enjoyed the absolute privacy of the private driveway.
