We absolutely loved our stay!
September 2023 - We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Mira! The place was clean and had more than enough room for the 5 of us during our 4 nights there. The villa had everything we needed, including an elevator which was so helpful for our luggage!
The team was even accommodating to find parking for our big van! Patti, our host, was SO accommodating and so helpful with all the things we needed, we can't thank him enough! Everything was amazing, we can't thank you enough!
If you are looking for a great place to stay just outside Sorrento, this is your best bet!
Summer In Italy was so helpful, had great customer service and very accommodating. We can't thank you guys enough!
Travel tips
- This villa is slightly outside Sorrento in a little town, but the town has plenty of restaurants and cafes to eat at.
- Sabrina's Pizza shop down the street was our favorite!
- There is a train that goes into Sorrento and takes about 5 mins to get there. It's not a bad walk into town either. If you want to take a cab, they are easy to find near the train station (2 min walk to that) and about $25-30 to get to Sorrento!

January 2023 - Villa Mira is new and has good quality equipment (elevator) and nice decorations. It is located at a short distance from the train station and from Sorrento.
Very good welcome at the arrival.

- Shops and train station at a short distance (5 mins on foot, train to Naples and Sorrento).
- Ferry to Capri.

We absolutely loved the villa
September 2022 - We absolutely loved the villa. It is modern and very well maintained with a reliable and strong Internet connection in all parts of the house. Great when planning trips out. The lift was very good for getting our luggage to and from the bedrooms.
Very conveniently located in the centre of Sant'Agnello di Sorrento, just seconds from the square and the train station. It's an easy 30 minute walk to the middle of Sorrento as well. We visited the bakery opposite the villa every day before breakfast to get bread and pastries, wonderful place and great value.
The plunge pool was a godsend in the 32 Centigrade temperatures we had during our stay and there was plenty of outdoor space for everyone. The pool was cleaned regularly during our stay and always looked great.
Patty was a great owner from meeting us on the first day to our departure on the last. This villa is thoroughly recommended, it is perfect :-). Thank you Patty for a wonderful stay.
Luca and Michela were great and really helpful to us when we were selecting our villa. Great communication with us and will hopefully be booking again with them for future holidays.
Travel tips
- When walking into Sorrento go via Corso Marion Crawford for a quieter walk rather than going down Corso Italia.
- Visit Tony's bar in the square for a drink and to do some people watching. Especially good when there is a wedding on. Tony and his family are lovely.
- Visit Da Peppino for a real taste of Italy. The locals queue out the door for their chicken and chips. The chicken is cooked in their wood fired rotisserie machine and is delicious.
