September 2013 - I really felt comfortable in the apartment. It was wonderfully quiet, sufficiently furnished and relatively clean.

I was most pleased with the responsiveness of the property managers who fixed things on a timely basis. I especially appreciated their promptness when I needed to be transported back to the villa on several evenings.

Travel tips

  • Be sure to have some matches on hand in the event the lighting device for the stove jams. This happened to me, and there was no way to light the stove for that essential morning coffee.
  • Be sure to bring some basic kitchen items, such as dish soap, napkins, new dish cloth, garbage bags and food items.
  • There is only one small Italian "moka" coffee pot so if there is more than one person, it can take a while in the morning. Otherwise, I found the kitchen well equipped.
