A wonderful stay

March 2018 - A wonderful five days were spent at Villa Faustina in Positano. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

The suite was very large and we lacked for nothing. The kitchenette (we called it a Murphy Kitchen-like the bed) was great for breakfast and was stocked to cook larger meals but we ate out as there are a ton of good restaurants nearby.

I had no issues with Summer in Italy. Always wanted to go to Positano. I think I started with VRBO and you were discovered there.

We give the entire experience a 5 out of 5.

Travel tips

  • The driving in the Coastal towns is "challenging" but the staff made the shock of our arrival go very smoothly. We choose the paid parking for convenience.
  • This trip was planned three years ago and we were offered the insurance which was a blessing since I had back surgery during that time. This March 2018 trip was the reschedule with full use of our deposit from 2015.

Amazing location!

November 2016 - Villa Faustina G is in an amazing location! The kitchen is not a "cook-in" kitchen and, although it was expected we clean our own glasses, dishes, there are not any items with which to clean. We had a problem two nights with children above us, yelling and jumping. When we called the front desk, they did stop.

We enjoyed our visit very much.

Travel tips

  • The owner's clothing store, next door, was fabulous!
  • We took the ferry to Capri one day- very crowded even in the third week of October. Lots of high-end shopping, but many of the views were only to be seen over others' heads as every area was standing room only. The ferry ride was wonderful, the return was cold and a bit “splashy” but we loved the adventure and the gorgeous views of the cliffs and interesting islands.
  • We took the bus to Amalfi- which we enjoyed even more than Capri. It was a real adventure! Beautiful, exciting, it is a miracle that there are no collisions as the large bus winds its way on the edge of the cliffs, with other buses and equally confident car and scooter drivers speed past.

  • Rent one of the private boats from the beach for the day, not cheap, but worth every single cent!

September 2012 - Fantastic, awesome patio. My wife and I have stayed in Positano for over four months on various trips. This was a great apartment to be in the center area of town where all the activity is.

The bedroom is in the back of the apartment and is sunken and totally quiet for sleeping.

We have used your services many times and have always been satisfied.

Travel tips

  • We recommend Cafe Positano for the best dinner view of the duomo and lights of Positano. Get the zuppa, misto di mare, its the best in town. It's a full meal unto itself.

September 2012 - Villa Faustina G was fantastic, lots of space, very clean, and everything we needed was there. Housekeeping even let us hold on to an iron and board all week.

The view from the balcony was fantastic, incredible view, we sat there for hours in the evening.

Travel tips

  • When you arrive at the port via ferry there will be lots of porters asking if you need your bags taken up to the property. It is expensive but worth it, I carried our bags up and it was exhausting.

Unfortunately, Villa Faustina G can not be booked at this time.
