September 2014 - Villa Faustina D was incredibly clean and had a fantastic view.
On our last day we thought that we would spoil ourselves and order the breakfast at the property. WOW: cappuccino, fresh breads and juice!!
A friend recommended Summer In Italy and we have already told numerous people about how professional everything was. We came back home only a few weeks ago and already planning another trip to Italy and will definitely be using Summer In Italy again. Thank you.

- Take the ferry to Amalfi and go up to Ravello, incredible views.

October 2012 - The stay at Villa Faustina D was great. Starting with the staff who were the most friendly and caring staff we have ever encountered (and I have stayed at 5 Star resorts many times). We had our 18 month child with us, the young lady who helped us get settled in actually brought us some of her child's toys for our daughter to play with during our stay.
Our unit was always clean and well supplied. Rooms are large and comfortable. View is excellent.
Travel tips
- Great place to stay but you may want to go for a lower floor if you have a child who you have to carry up and down stairs. My wife would carry the baby and I would carry the stroller up and down the 56 stairs to get to our room.
- It is a great location, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but close enough you could be in the middle of it within 3 minutes of stepping out or your room.

- Parking garages were close by and parking was a non-issue.
- When you see the yachts collecting in numbers is likely to mean there will be fireworks at midnight! They were beautiful!

September 2011 - This place is a gem. We had a fabulous week staying in Villa Faustina.
We became acquainted with our neighbor while visiting on the balcony. The balcony looks right into the water and the hills of Positano. The pictures do not do justice to the view.
The apartment is quite spacious, especially coming from New York City. Everything was provided.
Fernanda [the caretaker] was extremely helpful even making dinner reservations for us. Her English is far better than my Italian.
There is a small grocery not too far to pick up fruit, cheese, bread and wine. Local transportation is very convenient too. Easy visits to Amalfi and Paestum.
You made this so easy. Thanks.
Travel tips
- There is no lift. There are 60 steps to get to the top floor. Not easy with heavy suitcases but great exercise.
- The best pizza at the restaurant close to the dock.
- Day trips to Amalfi, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Paestum.
- Streets are scary narrow but local transport is easy to use.

August 2011 - We loved staying here. It surpassed our expectations when we saw it. The location was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Positano and we will definitely recommend it to our friends/family.
The lady in the shop downstairs was very friendly and very helpful in advice. She helped me to choose a nice restaurant, Madam Rosa, for us to have a special celebration dinner. She also took care of our car by organising the garage to come up and pick it up on the day we arrived - this helped us very much and took a lot of stress out of driving it to the garage. Thank you so very much.
Fantastic! Thank you for the detailed emails and driving directions to find Villa Faustina D. Without it I think we would have not been able to find it. Also the prompt response to my emails was very much appreciated.
Travel tips
- I would definitely recommend to future guests to go to La Gavitella beach for a day of relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. We had a wonderful time there and by boat (free) it only took 10 minutes to get there.

October 2010 - We really enjoyed our stay at Vill Faustina D. The apartment was exactly as it looked on the website, spacious with a great view from the balcony.
During our stay our contact for the apartment was Ferdinanda. She spoke excellent English was very helpful with directions etc.
We didn't cook in the apartment but the kitchen was well equiped and there was lots of great local produce to buy.
Hope to go back one day.
