August 2014 - We enjoy very much the stay in the Villa Fabrizia A.

The place is fantastic and we used it for 8 adults and 2 babies.

The kitchen is very good and the only remarks we had are that one of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms were bit less comfortable than the others.

The pool and the garden were excellent.

August 2012 - We loved Villa Fabrizia! It is beautiful. The house and the pool were amazing. It was super private - it is just you on the farm (no owners and no other guests at least during our week).

The house is well-decorated, the kitchen is modern, the garden is great. The city Pitigliano nearby is amazing!

Having AC was great for hot day, but very expensive.

The only thing we wished is that we would be provided with some information in English about the nearby things to do (beyond Pitigliano). For example, we wanted to know where nearby wineries are that show the wine making process, are there any farms we could visit with kids.

Overall it was great!

Travel tips

  • It is an amazing place. The managers do not speak English, so you need to have internet or working Italian to get by.
  • We found the supermarket in Pitigliano nearby using our Google search. Type in "Supermercato" in Google. The two supermarkets are Punto and COOP they are in the new part of Pitigliano.
  • We travelled with kids. Having a pool was a huge plus. Being there in August in the middle of heat was a bit challenging for sightseeing during the day.
  • You can buy the locally made wine and olive oil in the center of Pitigliano or by the Church heading towards it. It is distributed by Tomassi. Both are amazing (especially the red wine).

Unfortunately, Villa Fabrizia A can not be booked at this time.
