Simply a delightful place - perfect for a couple with fab views

September 2020 - The location is perfect as is the view, and Praiano is a splendid alternative to the mad busy other towns.

Be sure to swim in the crystal clear waters at the beach and have lunch at Restaurant Da Armandino!

Luca [the caretaker] was fantastic.

Summer In Italy is a very good company - helpful with accurate descriptions of properties.

The view from the terrace is stunning, especially the sunset

August 2020 - We had a wonderful stay in the apartment, it was even better than expected! The view from the terrace is stunning, especially the sunset.

The apartment was very clean, kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook.

There is a good local supermarket in 2 mins walking distance. The walk to the beach is beautiful - a small pathway down the hill, about 15 mins walk to the small Marina di Praia Beach. The area has a very calm vibe and friendly locals.

The communication with the host was easy, he got back to us very quickly and provided us with all the information we needed.

Gorgeous, spacious house with breathtaking views on the terrace!

October 2019 - Gorgeous, spacious house with breathtaking views on the terrace! Unit was clean when we arrived and Luca [the caretaker] was a wonderful host and gave us a fun rundown of the location and where to find what.

The location was absolutely perfect, not too far from the city centre and walking distance to the coffee shop, restaurants, little shops and a market.

Everything was wonderful.

We loved simplicity of booking and check-in, it really made our trip extra special being out of a hotel setting.

  • Make sure your driver or yourself has confirmed the location with the host as the roads are very confusing if you don't know the area!

Perfect place for a stay in the Amalfi Coast

September 2019 - It is a perfect place for a stay in the Amalfi Coast. We liked the view very much. The apartment is near to a supermarket and a bar for good coffee.

Travel tips

  • Parking is very difficult in Praiano. The "Easypark" app can be easily used.
  • Praiano is not as busy as Amalfi and Positano and that was very good for us.

We had everything we needed!

First time we used Summer In Italy and found them very easy to deal with. Lots of key information provided and just enough contact to ensure we got the most from our stay.

Travel tips

  • Supermarket and restaurant close - but expect a few steps and incline to get to other restaurants.
  • Local bus stop just outside the town hall which runs until after 11 pm - so this gives you more choice of restaurants without a hike.
  • There are very few public car parking spaces locally - so be prepared to park your car a good walk away from the accommodation.

Breathtaking view

May 2019 - This is a beautiful villa with a break taking view. Not as busy as some of the other more popular towns which was ideal for us. Local restaurants and market within walking distance. I would go back again tomorrow if I could.

The owners met us and helped with our luggage which was very kind.

  • It was easy to get buses to visit other towns.

We absolutely loved Villa Euforia

July 2018 - We absolutely loved Villa Euforia due to its great location, amazing views and comfortable space. All the facilities were ideal, the terrace and view made it spectacular.

I was delighted with the level of service and professionalism from Summer In Italy. All details and questions were very clearly explained and answered. Directions to the apartment and contact details of the owner were very helpful.

Travel tips

  • Many great restaurants. Il Pino, La Moressa, Trattoria San Gennaro, Il Pirata (vicino alla spiaggia) were all within walking distance.
  • The local bus service to Positano from Praiano was perfect for a day visit.
  • A boat trip from Praiano along the Amalfi Coast is a must to see the towns along the coast at their best.

May 2018 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Euforia. The house was clean and tidy, Wi-Fi excellent. A good base from which to see the Amalfi Coast.

Summer In Italy were excellent. Responded whenever needed with good advice etc.

Travel tips

  • The local public transportation was excellent although the Sita buses did not stop if full but the local buses made up for it. The only tip of value might be to try the local bus as soon as you arrive and do the complete route. Once we had done that it made it much easier to plan and time our trips.
