June 2015 - We had a lovely stay. Villa Clorinda A was clean, tidy and well equipped. The property was exactly as advertised and as we expected to find it.

The landlady was always on had and could not have been more pleasant or helpful.

Travel tips

  • There is a well stocked supermarket on the road up to Ravello, about 2/3 the way along the traffic light controlled zone.
  • Take time to explore the back streets of Ravello... Lots of tucked away friendly bars and restaurants.
  • Parking was expensive in Amalfi but reasonable just along the coast.

May 2009 - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Clorinda.

Good size bedrooms, nice kitchen and lounge with the highlight being the view and big terrace to enjoy drinks and eating al fresco.

Travel tips

  • Nearest shops are in Atrani (watch out for afternoon siesta) and a Spar on the way up the hill to Ravello.
  • Reasonable bus service from Amalfi (about every half an hour), the bus driver will stop outside the villa upon request. The buses run until about 1am which is much better than anticipated.

October 2008 - We loved it because we did not want to be in the heart of the town nor did we want to climb down and swim every day. We wanted to be able to sit up and look at the view and to walk the hills so it was perfect.

Just on the path to Ravello and handy to buses, etc.

Very clean and well-appointed.

We booked with you because a friend had recommended you and we were not disappointed. Your friendly service and contact was wonderful and your very timely advice about a previous booking saved us from making a terrible mistake. We have nothing but praise for Summer In Italy and will most certainly use you again.

Travel tips

  • The Limoncello place and the Cantine Sammarco winery next door were fabulous. Buy your wines and Limoncello there!
  • The ferry to Positano and Naples was great fun.

May 2007 - Villa Clorinda was lovely... very clean and supplied with the basic amenities. Amazing views from the large terrace.

A winery and limoncello vendor are but just a walk from the driveway.

Secured entry into the Villa. The owner is wonderful; helpful when you need her but not intrusive. She speaks English, French and Italian.

My friend and I were very impressed with our accommodations.

Your website went beyond our expectations. So much support and help. Our villa was explained in perfect detail (no surprises) and when I e-mailed for assistance with travel questions you were prompt in response. You are great and I will refer your services for years to come.

Travel tips

  • Note well that you are a fair distance from the village of Amalfi. You must take steep stairs (great exercise) or walk the street (busy traffic but a fabulous view of the area)to get to the core of Amalfi. Heading back to the Villa with bags in tow? Take the Sita bus (1 euro) or a taxi (12-15 euros).
  • You need to have gelato every day!
  • Make sure to visit the square in Atrani.. .amazing service at the eateries there and it is a short walk to the beach.
