Good

August 2014 - Central Sorrento location with amazing views, pool and proximity to Marina, town and Circumvesuviana really are the special points of Villa Azzurra B. Essentially if you like the location of the main hotels but prefer a family holiday in a villa this is ideal. The negatives are that it's a bit noisy early in the morning with street cleaners etc and the shared terrace is actually the route for everyone to get to the pool so dinners on the terrace aren't going to be private.

June 2014 - Stunning location.

Villa Azzurra B is ideal for two people as living room has no windows, therefore did not even use this room to sit in. Beautiful terrace with view over the port.

The owner, Andrea, was extremely helpful.

Would visit again.

November 2009 - My husband Jim and I loved Villa Azzurra B. We felt welcome, the villa and surrounding area was quite beautiful.

When traveling to Italy again, we would stay here without hesitation. We would also recommend this villa to our family and friends.

Summer In Italy did a great job with helping to confirm our accommodations. You were organized, prompt, and made our booking smooth and efficient. We will surely use you again in our travels.

July 2008 - The apartment was more than adequate but the terrace outside its door with the view over Marina Piccola, Mt. Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples was spectacular.

The inner living room/2nd bedroom with no windows was not a place we congregated but rather in the kitchen around the table with the view out the door. However, we spent most of our time outside.

It was a bit noisy with traffic and horn honking on curve outside our gates and club singer from Foreigner's Club next door singing into the night but soon we began to just factor it into our "summer in Italy" and slept well and had a good laugh when the children began to critique the singer and his repertoire and even sing along. Luckily he stops at midnight.

Also our only regret at the end of the week was that we hadn't spent more time at the villa. We spent most of every day away sightseeing rather than staying "home" and enjoying the uniqueness of the location and the view, watching life at the port, etc. Next time we would set aside some time during different parts of the day to just stay home.

Also since few of the guests in the other apartments seemed to use the terrace the week we were there, we had it to ourselves whenever we wanted to entertain guests for dinner and watch the sun set, and to read, sun, swim, and star gaze. We loved it!

I would have liked to have met all of you, who handled our rental. You were always so attentive to our concerns as we went through the process - a first rental for us - and we always felt confident it would work and it did! Many thanks to you all.

Since we returned I have found your links to things to do in the area which is a great asset. But we didn't seem to have any trouble finding things to do on our own since we were so centrally located.

September 2007 - We loved our week at Villa Azzurra B.

The only warning is that the location is a bit noisy.

The villa is just steps away from the main square of town, and the views and terrace are absolutely spectacular.

July 2007 - There is no living room if you are staying in the villa with 4 people. One room had a double bed and the other a single and a single/daybed. We put our kids in the room with the 2 singles and were left with only a kitchen table to sit at in the evening. A sofa in the main kitchen/dining room area would be great.

Otherwise, we loved the location within Sorrento and also the wonderful patio/pool/view.

August 2006 - The owner is fantastic and very friendly. He was around almost everyday and gave recommendations on places to go and things to do.

The apartment is in an actual villa. The terrace is enormous and has fantastic views, you are literally over the water. The wood burning pizza oven was a fun addition.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about staying in the area. It was as close to the water as you could be and also right in the town.

September 2005 - We had a wonderful stay and were pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning.

The location could not have been better - we walked everywhere.

August 2005 - Villa Azzurra is the most wondferful villa we have had the pleasure of staying in. The photographs on the website are very good but in real life the experience is breathtaking. For some reason I was hesitant in booking as it seemed to good to be true - it is!

We were extremely well looked after by Mr Andrea [the owner] during our stay and the rooms were comfortable.

The villa combined with the resort is a match made in heaven! The location is perfect, stunning views (best in the whole resort) and a very short walk in to the buzz of Sorrento (2 mins).

We had 2 young children with us and felt totally safe and secure in the grounds of the villa.

This is a hidden treasure and I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Azzurra. Next time we would like to take Villa Azzurra A!! We'll be back with more friends next time!

June 2005 - What a phenomenal location - the villa is at such a prominent point in Sorrento harbor. From the ocean it has more of a presence than any other building on the coast. Once you actually stand on the terrace you can see Mt. Vesuvius straight ahead, the marina below, basically the whole of the Sorrento peninsula. In respects to the center of town it wasn't even a one minute stroll away. I look at my pictures and can't believe how beautiful it really was.

The property manager could not have been more hospitable. A remarkable home at an unbelievable part of the world. The property manager provided towels and cleaned the villa incrementally - more than enough. He provided and iron and board at request - and I'm sure he would try and provide anything that one would ask of him. To reinterate - it was a phenomenal experience that I can't wait to repeat.

August 2004 - Excellent holiday. Worth every penny even though the living accomodation was quite basic.

The view was amazing and we were in the best position for town, sea,and boats.

July 2004 - Villa Azzurra B is perfectly located for exploring Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

It is a short pleasant walk into the main centre of town and has wonderful views of the Bay of Naples.

The property boasts a good sized eat-in kitchen and a pleasant, small living room with a good clean bedroom.

Andrea [the owner] was a perfect host and was an ideal source of information. The flat was lovely and clean when we arrived.

After making the initial booking I had very little need to call upon your assistance. Excellent service and very prompt communication made this an easy holiday to plan. Thank you.
