October 2013 - We had a wonderful stay at Villa Arturo!
The owners were so friendly and made us feel like family. They cooked pizzas for everyone staying one evening: it was a night we will never forget.
The surrounds of the villas are gorgeous and the pool is lovely!
A perfect place to stay in Sorrento!!
Summer in Italy were so easy to book through and always very helpful, thank you.

- We did the boat trip to Capri one day which was organised by the owner, the blue grotto was spectacular.

- Be aware that it is a longer walk into to town that it appears to be on the map! However there is a slightly shorter way if you don't essentially want to go to Piazza Tasso.

March 2013 - We stayed at Arturo B for two weeks in March. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious.
The location was ideal for travelling around the Amalfi coast. Pompei, Herculaneum and Naples are easily accessible by train. And we were able to visit Paestum by car twice.
The weather was disappointingly cold so we were not able to take advantage of all the facilities offered. Antonino and Gino [the owners] went out of their ways to make us comfortable and welcome.
Your service was great. You were recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We hope to use your service again, possibly in Tuscany. Thanks so much.

September 2010 - We very much enjoyed Villa Arturo B and its location.
Gino [the caretaker] was very welcoming and full of tips for restaurants and things to do. Especially recommended is his pizza cooking!
Travel tips
- There is lots to do in the area: trips to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast, Positano, Capri, Ischia - the list is endless.
- Sorrento is particularly nice to stroll round in the evening and fantastic leather bags etc. in the shops which stay open late.

May 2008 - We enjoyed staying at Villa Arturo B.
The owners were very friendly and helpful without being the least bit intrusive.
The pool was lovely and well-kept.
The walk into town takes about 10 or 15 minutes and is very pleasant. But, if you are tired from a long day of sightseeing, the walk home can be a challenge because it is mostly uphill. Or if you just want to go to the store for something it will take at least 30 minutes round-trip.
We felt very much at home and loved the atmosphere. The gardens and lemon trees were beautiful.
We were pleased with the service from Summer In Italy.
Travel tips
- Bring your own laundry soap and dish soap.
- Have at least one meal at La Fenice restaurant. We ate there three times and loved it. It is a nice walk from the villa.
Unfortunately, Villa Arturo B can not be booked at this time.
