The owner is friendly and helpful.

Although only a bus ride away from the beach and the center of Positano, it is very quiet in this neighborhood with all you really need very close by.

Summer in Italy was recommended by a friend and I would definitely use their services again.

August 2012 - An amazing view from the balcony and a lovely town to stay in - we were there with our teenagers and had one of the best holidays ever!

The owners were really helpful and while the apartment is quite high up in the town it is close to one of the best greengrocers ever and a newly opened small supermarket, so really easy to self cater.

The living room is really spacious and the main bedroom large. The second bedroom is smaller, but plenty of room for the two single beds. We were happy to spend time in the apartment as well as get to the beaches and town. The apartment is also very conveniently located to use the local Sita buses to get there and also for a day trip to Pompeii and other sites in the area. Fantastic!

October 2011 - The residence itself was great, everything you could ask for in a holiday villa. The owners were lovely and very obliging.

The only thing I would let people know is it is quite a ways down to the centre of town and the beach but we saw it as our daily exercise - working off the food and vino. You can always catch the bus... that's if you can fit.

August 2009 - We really enjoyed our stay at Residence Stefania C. What made a big difference is the genuine kindness of the owners. We we're greeted warmly upon arrival by Stefano who spoke very good English. We met his parents at their shop in the center of the village who were also very nice people.

Stefania C is an apartment attached to a bigger property but you couldn't hear any noise. It was actually really quiet that I was worried that we might be creating all the noise for everyone else since I have 3 children :).

The property is quite new so everything is clean and well maintained. There is a newly installed elevator which is quite convenient but you can always take the stairs if you feel like exercising.

There is parking for extra charge at the property but they only recommend it if you don't intend to use your car during your stay since it's the private car park of the family and it is quite tricky to shuffle several cars going in and out. We chose to keep our car at the family's car park and took public transport everywhere which was really convenient. The bus stop is right outside of the house.

The location of the property is on top of the village of Positano which means that you would have to walk down to the village and to the beach. It is a long walk down neverending stairs but you can always take the local bus too. It might not be in the center but Positano is a small village so nothing is really far. And because it's high up the view from the apartment is spectacular! As for convenience to other needs, there is a trattoria, a tabaccheria, a small grocery and knick knack store as soon as you walk out of the house.

One thing that you have to keep in mind is that the apartment's decor is in keeping with the local style -- so, it's may not be necessarily to my taste but it adds to the genuine local experience.

August 2009 - Our family had a wonderful time at Stefania C and Positano. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

We were made to feel very welcome by our host Mr Stefano, and he sincerely helped us with some great local information and any of our requests.

The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The view from our terrace was breath-taking, and we spent as much time as we could overlooking the brilliant view of the town and mountains.

The apartment was very quiet and the elevator was a luxurious bonus!

We would thoroughly recommend Stefania C to any family, and dream of returning one day.

Summer in Italy were so easy to deal with. I appreciated the friendly emails leading up to our holiday, and the opportunity to provide feedback. If we ever have the chance to go to Italy again (we would love to) I would definitely contact Summer in Italy. High standard service.

October 2006 - We loved Stefania C! It was bright, spacious and very clean. The view was breath-taking no matter what time of day.

We counted 84 steps from the street up to the apartment! That is a lot of steps, but it was worth it. We loved the location where we could mix with the locals hopping on and off the bus, shopping at the fruit stand, grocery store and bar.

Great family restaurant right there with wonderful home-made dishes.

Your website convinced me to book with you. I felt comfortable that I was going to get exactly what I saw and read - and we did.

September 2005 - Words cannot describe how wonderful the entire experience was. Stefano (the owner) is sooo nice and very helpful.

The villa has a spectacular view!!! And it's sooo spacious, clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed the location, the villa and the famous Bar International. I look forward to going back!

Really, I just took a chance over the internet and I'm so happy and grateful for how it turned out. I'd be more than happy to refer Summer In Italy (and, in fact, I've already done so to several people) to anyone!

August 2004 - The apartment was airy and spacious. We would love to own it and live in it! It was well appointed and provided the perfect base for an Amalfi coast holiday; being near bus sevices and good quality restaurants etc.

We can certainly recommend it.

June 2004 - Residence Stefania C has fantastic view, we spent many a delightful hour on the terrace. Stefano [the owner] was extremely helpful.

If you have a car take advantage of Stefano's arrangement with the parking garage.

Overall a great place, great location and a fantastic view, we would definitely return.

May 2004 - We LOVE Positano, Italy!! And we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stefania C.

The homeowners are wonderful people - very friendly and welcoming. Don't be afraid to ask them for advice on anything.

The location contributes to making this apartment an above average spot. It's very convenient to catch a bus to anywhere - locations along the coast or into town. In fact, it's convenient to everything - markets, post office, cafes, and internet access are all within easy walking distance. Be sure not to overlook the very nearby and fabulous trattorias.

The view from the terrace is hypnotic.

Enjoy Stefania C and please take good care of it, because we will be back!

June 2003 - We have just returned from our wonderful trip abroad.

We had a marvelous time at Stefania C. Stefano was a wonderful owner and was very welcoming, personal and extremely helpful (excellent English also). We also met his father who was very nice.

Stefania C is a lovely apartment - very spacious, clean, new and generally very comfortable with a great balcony and view. We also very much enjoyed the air conditioning as it was very hot in Positano at that time. It is quite far from the beach and centre, but this did not pose a problem for us as we enjoyed walking down and even sometimes walking up, but when necessary we took the bus which is very regular.

So, all in all, we would highly recommend the apartment.
