July 2014 - Perfect location and beautiful apartment! The view from the terrace is stunning. I could have spent the whole week just sitting out there!

The apartment is spacious and clean and had everything we could ask for. We loved having the bus stop right outside for our trips to Pompei and down the Amalfi coast. The walk down to the beach is a little daunting - but there is a local bus that you can take. We loved how most of the restaurants in town would send a driver each way - very convenient!

Positano is a spectacular place and this is the perfect location to see it from.

The owners were absolutely wonderful. They were very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area and restaurants. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

May 2013 - Stefano [the owner]and his mother were so helpful and welcoming. They made the stay special.

The location was fabulous. The bus stop was across the street. Buses are important since you don't want to drive in Positano or the Amalfi Coast.

We were very close to the supermarket and small local restaurant.

There are many steps in Positano and Residence Stefania has an elevator. The apartment is over 900 square feet which is very large. The mattress was firm which is typical for Italy. The shower was small.

The ocean view was beautiful and we loved sitting out on the large deck. We were halfway up the mountain so the views were wonderful of Positano below.

Thank you for your kindness. We had a wonderful stay. We will come back.

June 2012 - We truly enjoyed staying at Residence Stefania A. The apartment is very conveniently located by a small grocery, bank, tobacco shop (get bus tickets here), bus stops and a restaurant. However, it is quiet and tranquil, has an amazing view and is still close to the main beach and shops of Positano. If you are looking for that "slice of Italian life" feel of being in the village and enjoying the true way of life there, this is the place for you. It is very clean, too.

We stayed here for a week and it was hard to leave this apartment! My husband and two boys (ages 6 and 11) loved it and they also have a lift to the apartment which is nice after all the steps of Positano! We did not have a car and used the great public transportation. Also, the restaurants up on the hill (Il Ritrovo and Costantino's) are fabulous and they will come get you, just give them a call. I hope this is helpful information. I thoroughly researched this area, having two young kids and could not be happier with our choice.

May 2006 - This apartment had breathtaking views. We were able to witness the splendor of Positano from the peace and quiet of our terrace.

The walk to and from the beach can be challenging, but it does not take long and it will certainly keep you healthy.

The family who owns the apartment, were friendly and informative, and they also own the best ceramics shop in Positano (really you will not find more exquisite and artful pieces anywhere else on the Amalfi coast).

The restaurant downstairs was also very good and, unlike restaurants down on the beach, not overrun with tourists and overpriced dishes.

November 2005 - Our stay at the Residence Stefania was the culmination of a beautiful vacation that we will never forget.

The apartment was attractive, clean, and well - equipped with everything that we needed.

It is steps away from groceries and other daily amenities, and presents a truly breathtaking vista of the Amalfi coastline.

Although my worst fear was that we would not find the accomodations as wonderful as they appeared on the website, I must say that the apartment and everything about our stay in Positano truly exceeded our expectations! I would not hesitate using your services again, should the opportunity arise. We most appreciate the integrity of your service and wish you every success in your future.

October 2005 - Residence Stefania was a nice property in a great location. It was spacious and clean. The view was excellent.

Local choice of restaurants was also very good. The restaurants were very welcoming of young children.

We had a lovely time, although access and getting around was a bit challenging because we had a young child and a pushchair with us all the time.

The beach was disappointing, because our child could not really play on it due to the shingle.

The service from Summer in Italy was helpful and we were pleased with it. We would book with you again.

October 2005 - We enjoyed out stay very much at Stefania A - superb location being away from the crowds in the downtown area of Positano and close to some great shops/restaurants and the buses!

If you can cope with the 100 steps up to the apartment you escape from the hustle and bustle of the Bar Internationale area to a very spacious and comfortable Italian villa!

We spent most of our time on the terrace taking in the view, the beautiful weather and eating and drinking the local produce!

No need to rent a car being so close to both the local bus and the Sita buses to go further afield. Tip - catch the local bus up to Nocelle and either do the Path of the Gods to Praiano (experienced walkers) or walk the road down to Montepertuso - breathtaking scenery all the way!!

Staying at Stefania A certainly added to our wonderful experience on the Amalfi coast.

July 2004 - We had a fabulous time. The height from the town meant the views were spectacular, and we spent most of or time out on the balcony. Being close to the bus stop and the little grocery stores was fantastic, as we cooked most nights.

The apartment was clean, modern, tastefully decorated, and equipped with beautiful crockery from the owners own shop. The owner was friendly and very helpful and accomodating.

I would definitely recommend this apartment.

June 2004 - Residence Stephania A was excellent, due to it’s location there are fine views, from the balcony, of the town, sea and the mountains.

The apartment is well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and it is very convenient for the bus stop, shops and the Bar Internazionale.

A big thank you to Stefano & Irene [the owners], who were extremely helpful throughout our stay.

April 2004 - Stefania A is a lovely two bedroom apartment, newly renovated with high ceilings. It is suitable for two couples or a family of four. The view from the terrace is spectacular! The kitchen is small, but adequate for light cooking. The local Positano bus can get you from the town to the apartment. Be warned that it is 100 steps from the street to the apartment, and, unless you take the bus, 500 steps from the street to the main part of town (and even more to the beach).

The restaurant next door had the best and most reasonably priced food that we had in Positano, though it is not as pleasant an atmosphere as others. The apartment owners are very pleasant and helpful, and speak English well. Don't miss their pottery shop in the main town.

April 2004 - Residence Stefania A is an imaculately clean, light and airy apartment with good size rooms, just right for a family of four. We had a friendly welcome by the owner Stafano who was also very helpful during our stay, organizing some food for our first breakfast at the property and giving tips about where to eat out etc.

Waking up to beautiful sunshine was amazing and the views of Positano were breathtaking, while having breakfast on the terrace.

Though we had a great time exploring the area, catching the local buses from the near bus stop to Amalfi, up to Monte Pertuso and sometimes the little inner Positano bus. We fell in love with 'Bar Internazionale' a few houses down from the property, fantastic coffee friendly staff and children were always welcome. All the steps made us fit and feeling less guilty about eating all this delicious Italien food.

You provide a prompt, efficient and very friendly service. I will definitely recommend your company to my friends.

Also your website is well designed, which made it easy to choose the right location and property.

October 2003 - We were so happy that we chose to stay in Positano (in our opinion the best of the towns) and that we found Residence Stefania A.

The best part of the apartment is the terrace with its gorgeous view. We also appreciated Stefano's [the owner] excellent advice and attention to our needs.
