Relaxing place with fantastic views

August 2019 - Residence Serenata C is a nice place to relax. All day long you have this fantastic view out of the sea.

The entire complex has only 5 apartments, so it never got crowded around the pool. The pool was clean and we could use the big BBQ.

There is only 1 restaurants in walking distance - we aware it is very steep wherever you go. The private area down at the bay is great - it is fully equipped even with a fridge . We usually walked down in the morning and asked Antonio [the caretaker] in the afternoon to pick us up.

August 2016 - Residence Serenata C is an excellent holiday apartment... Spacious, great view, nice pool... The beach deck area is good.

Very helpful owner. Alfonso is great for taxiing down to the marina and beach! I was very pleased with the overall experience...

August 2015 - We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very good especially if you wanted to be on a communal site. The terrace was good but we were rather overlooked and some people staying in other apartments were quite noisy one evening.

The owner Alfonso, was available to help us with everything that we asked for and took us in his shuttle bus anytime we asked.

Everyone at Summer In Italy was friendly and helpful and tried to help us achieve what we were looking for. We found the site online and it was easy to navigate and help was always available if necessary. I really liked the general advice given for people staying in Italian properties! Also the instructions for getting to our destination were really helpful.

August 2012 - We very much enjoyed our holiday. Having the shop round the corner, manned by Olga and her sons providing lifts to the beach was very handy.

We got on well with the other families around the pool, it would have been less fun if we hadn't.

Downside: there wasn't decent air conditioning in every room.

Overall though we would recommend the holiday.

July 2011 - Really quiet. Excellent to be on your own. Small swimming pool, but clean. The sun is disappearing very early behind a mountain, so it is not possible to stay in the sun after around 6 pm.

August 2008 - The down side. The beds were rock hard. The noise was unbearable. Bedroom right beside a bad corner on busy road, beeping and traffic noise all night. Could not close window as too hot, could not open as too noisy. Ended up sleeping in kitchen on pull out sofa bed under only air conditioning unit. Don't stay in Serenata C, as it is right on the road, but all of the other apartments would probably be less noisy. I would look at the reviews. In hindsight, all reviewers of Serenata C did give the noise levels a low rating.

The up side. Bus 2 km down to unspoilt little marina lined with great restaurants (seemed to be all Italian families, not foreigners). Absolute highlight (which made the holiday) was the private beach belonging to the owner of the apartments. Behind the little row of beachside restaurants, a path led around to a private decking area built on the rocks. Minutes from the beach, this key-only area was equipped with changing rooms, fridge for water, shower, smart loungers and parasols. Heaven to jump off the rocks and into the lovely sea.

I booked on my brother's recommendation (he has stayed in a few of the Summer in Italy places). Service second to none, very happy with feedback, info etc.
