Spectacular views, beautiful apartment

August 2022 - Beautiful apartment with spectacular views from every room… Lovely terrace with flowers and pretty shared pool - again with amazing views.

Walking distance from two small food shops and three restaurants and a longer but doable walk into Praiano and to the beaches. You won’t want to leave.

The owners were friendly and helpful. We had a great time and we’re grateful for the lovely fruit.

Summer In Italy seem to have good quality property and were helpful when we had questions

Views from every windows!

September 2019 - Very nice home with a great terraces with a view from every window.

It was comfortable and private yet convenient to bus lines and several restaurants and a grocery store. Parking was nearby and secure.

Steps are always an issue in the Amalfi Coast but are manageable here (I counted 90).

Travel tips

  • The two nearby restaurants are both excellent with beautiful terraces for dinner with a great view.
  • The grocery store had everything you might need.
  • I chose to ride the buses to get to the other Amalfi towns. Driving and parking was too exasperating and expensive.

October 2018 - Casa Teide B is a comfortable, clean, quiet and well appointed apartment with an amazing vista of the Mediterranean and the Amalfi Coast.

We were a party of 5 adult family members and stayed at Casa Teide for three nights. We would had loved to stay longer. The beds were comfortable and the terrace and balcony inviting.

The area and place is charming and away from the crowded larger towns on the coast. We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint area and inviting rental. Casa Teide B was one of our favorite places we visited in Italy.

Daniela [the owner] met us and was informative and helpful.

As for Summer In Italy, response time was quick in any correspondence. Information, travel tips, advice and suggestions were provided on line upon booking. The rental was exactly as advertised. The rental price was quite reasonable. Personnel were friendly, reliable and professional.

Travel tips

  • Be prepared to walk the stairs to and from the apartment and in the Amalfi Coast area in general.
  • There is a small grocery store on the street above, also a pharmacy on the same street. There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby as well.
  • The rental is near the local bus stop and connects to the Amalfi Coast bus route.

Very nice apartment in a fantastic location

May 2018 - Casa Teide B is a very nice apartment in a fantastic location, on the left side of Praiano - great view towards Amalfi / Salerno. A few meters from the apartment is the lockable parking, so you do not have to worry about the car. Important to know: the apartment is only a few steps from the road to reach. A small drop of bitterness: the pool was unfortunately not yet filled.

The owner Daniela was very friendly and helpful.

“Yes, indeed -- future guests please note that the swimming pool is closed in April/May. It is open from the beginning of June until the end of September!!„

Travel tips

  • Within a 5 minute walk is a well-stocked supermarket, where you can cover with all necessities.
  • In Praiano there are many good restaurants, which can be reached on foot.
  • Praiano is the perfect starting point to explore the Amalfi Coast. Many fantastic small and large villages (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, etc.) can be reached from Praiano without problems, by car or bus.
  • You should take a boat trip along the coast - tours can be booked at the beach directly with the boat rental companies.
  • If you are fond of hiking, you should not miss the "Path of the Gods" trail - just spectacular!

June 2017 - Casa Teide B is a little slice of heaven.

A great spot in a great little town out of the touristy clog of the bigger towns, with easy distance to great restaurants, a market with everything you need, a very friendly owner.

The owner, Daniela, can arrange anything you need, from drivers to restaurant reservations and is quick, efficient, and very friendly.

Wanted to stay longer than a week and will next time. Considering vacation rental prices, this is a steal for a place so wonderful.

We had a very good experience with Summer In Italy from questions to booking to any little detail.

Travel tips

  • The market is a short walk and has everything.
  • Highly recommend in Nocelle Le Ali Nel Vento, a birds of prey experience high in the mountains.
  • Favorite restaurants in Praiano were La Dolce Vista, La Moressa, and M'Ama in the Hotel Margherita. Restaurants in town will send a car for you and return you to the door!
  • You can hire a driver for about 45 euro an hour, which is a good deal if you have, say, four people.
  • Small thing: if you are susceptible to bug bites, bring repellent, as there are no screens and the Italian mosquitoes and other biting bugs can be pretty fierce. Expect little ants, as there isn't much you can do about them on the coast except remove all food from counters.

Travel tips

  • Ravello is lovely.
  • Really enjoyed the day walking in the mountains, the Walk of the Gods. Take lots of water but so worth the views and listening to the music at the top.
  • We spent a fascinating day at Herculaneum. We drove there but driving anywhere is very testing and there is no parking anywhere along the Amalfi Coast so don't take a car if you can help it.
  • There is good parking provided by the property, safe behind locked gates. We left the car there most of the week and used the Sita buses and the local buses.
  • Well stocked shop just down the road from the apartment.
  • Note that the sun leaves the property in the afternoon as it moves behind the hill.
  • Best beach, that gets sun all day, is below the church.

September 2016 - We had a wonderful time at Casa Teide B.

The view is breathtaking and the pool is small but very refreshing and enjoyable.

It was so nice to get back to our apartment and away from the crowds to relax. It was a wonderful place to stay!

Daniela [the owner] speaks English quite well and was very helpful daily with information and reservations for tourist services.

Travel tips

  • Praiano was not touristy.
  • There are a lot of steps down to the property which was difficult when carrying a lot of luggage so pack light. Otherwise we didn't mind because it meant we could eat more and not worry about the calories with all the walking!
  • Restaurant at the top of the stairs at the Margherita Hotel is excellent with a rooftop that's spectacular and very convenient. They also sell bus tickets.

You may feel tempted not to leave the property as it so well located with such a wonderful view and has everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Travel tips

  • Easy to find your way about using public transport although everything is in walking distance.
  • If there are any difficulties Daniela [the owner] is extremely helpful with no problem too big or small to deal with.
  • Praiano is wonderful and there are enough restaurants and bars.
  • An excellent pizzeria recommended to us by Daniela's father is at the top of the steps from the property.

July 2016 - We had a fantastic stay at Casa Teide B.

The accomodation is large and airy with a view to die for. Sat on the balcony one day to read our books and couldn't do it as the view was just too good.

Be warned there are steps down to the apartment but the position is well worth the effort.

Very helpful owners who are there if you need any advice with the area.

Would definitely return to the Casa Teide as our stay wasn't long enough to do everything we wanted.

Travel tips

  • Superb position to get around the Amalfi Coast and on the bus route if you don't fancy the roads!
  • The bus comes up the hill at back of apartment, so you don't have to trek down to bottom road.
  • Highly recommend the little restaurant on the road above apartment - the Pizzeria Jolly. Excellent food and service at good prices. One of the best meals we had was their seafood pasta...... Delicious.
  • The super markets will deliver provisions if you don't fancy the walk.

The only downside was that access from the road was down a number of steps.

We had a very pleasant stay.

Travel tips

  • The drive from Naples to the property takes longer than you expect. The nature of the narrow winding roads means that there are many hold ups along the way.
  • Don't bother getting food shopping on the way - the local supermarket has all you need and is open even on Sundays.
  • Definitely recommend restaurant La Strada in Praiano.
  • Best wifi reception in the apartment seems to be on the balcony or in the first bedroom.

August 2015 - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Teide. It is perfectly located for visiting Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. Good public transport links.

Daniela [the owner] was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure our holiday was a success. Mr and Mrs Pasquale, her parents, were very kind and we benefited from the produce they gave us from their garden-lemons for lemonade, tomatoes and aubergines as well as herbs.

During our two week stay we had many days visiting the beautiful area but also we were quite content to chill at the apartment using the pool daily.

June 2015 - We found the Casa Teide B to be a beautiful place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast.

It was a bus ride between Amalfi and Positano with the bus stop at the top of the stairs. We had no street noise and uninterrupted views.

The owners were very helpful and hospitable. A great example of an Italian family hospitality.

The views and the garden were exceptional. There were fruiting apricot trees over our balcony which added to the ambiance.

I could highly recommend Casa Teide B as a perfect base for a holiday on the Amalfi Coast.

Travel tips

  • There are 65 steps but easy going and there was help with our luggage.
  • There is a grocery store a short walk from the villa. Bus stop right at the top of the stairs with buses every half hour. A restaurant across the road.
  • It was hard to go out exploring as the view from our villa was exceptional. A great spot to relax and unwind after weeks of travelling.
