We had a great time!
October 2023 - We had a great time! It is a beautiful place and our old farm house was nicely renovated and in good condition.
Things work fine in the house, the bathrooms work fine and the kitchen is equipped adequately. For basic cooking everything is provided.
The biggest plus is the surrounding, the terraces and garden with pool. The owners did a great job in creating lots of lovely places to sit outside the house and enjoy the sun in the garden. Since even in October we had sunny days almost the whole week, this is a very important aspect.
We found the support at the house very friendly and had a nice contact with Paolo [the owner]. Everything was fine.
Travel tips
- Lovely quiet surrounding without traffic noise, but it has to be considered that San Quirico D'Orcia is a 15-20 min drive on dusty roads. Of course this is the other side of the medal if you want to stay peaceful.
- Since we are people who like cooking we are used to bring further equipment. If you are cooking as a family for example it might be reasonable to bring some more equipment, for example a casserole dish and baking form, an electric mixer or a whisk.
- There are so many beautiful places in the area: Siena, Monte Amiata, Abbey of Sant'Antimo, Montepulciano, Montalcino etc.
- And of course lots of good wineries and restaurants. So it's hard to give advice here.

September 2019 - We had a wonderful time and loved Casa Quercia.
The setting is superb and the villa was well and appropriately furnished. On our arrival it was very clean and the caretaker was helpful.
The only problem was the road leading to the villa. We did get used to it! Perhaps it would have been helpful to know in advance about it.
We would love to return one day.
We booked on a recommendation from a friend. We found you to be very helpful, giving us instant replies to our questions. Your range of villas is great and we feel we got the best one!! One day we will do it all again!! Well done.

September 2019 - We felt this property was beyond our expectations.
The views were spectacular.
The property was rustic, yet very clean and more than adequate for the three couples.
We were very satisfied with our accommodations and were very pleased with the 8-page message that was sent prior to our visit. This initially made us a little leary, however, it prepared us for what to expect, i.e. the waste receptacles, etc., which added to our satisfaction once we arrived.

- After the first few times down the 20-minute ride of the "white road", we really enjoyed the ride. The rolling hills and tranquility was very relaxing.
- We enjoyed Pienza and San Quirico D'Orcia very much and went to this areas several times. We also visited Montepulciono, Montalcino and several other areas. Very nice location.
