Excellent

April 2006 - We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Polliana. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the house was very new and that the pictures didn't do it justice.

The view was wonderful and we enjoyed our mornings on the terrace for coffee and breakfast.

We cooked at our Casa 3 times over the course of the week and found that the kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils and cookware that we needed.

There was some construction going on in the area, but we were never disturbed by noise. Also, the property is located just above an industrial area, but this didn't detract from our view at all.

The location was perfect for day trips and very easy to get in and out of. We usually managed to see at least two regions or towns per day.

There is a COOP grocery store in the closest town (about 10 minutes from the property) which we visited often. I suggest that you have slippers or house shoes to wear while in the house. There are no laundry facilities, but there is a clothes rack on the terrace if you want to wash things by hand and hang them in the sun to dry.

Overall, I would highly recommend this property. The owner was extremely friendly and easy to deal with and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
