It was always a pleasure to come back "home" after a day trip

June 2019 - The location is very Italian in its best sense but surprisingly calm.

The owner Marco is a man with a friendly character and good humour. It was nice to have met him.

Great location to visit the area

April 2018 - Beautiful tile floors, and woodwork, quiet night sleeps. A 15 minute walk from the train station, and a 20 minute walk back to the ferry to Amalfi.

Casa Mistral is a great location to travel up to Pompeii (take the fast train to Pompeii town, its not more than a 20 minute walk), or to Northern Amalfi locations like Ravello (dreamy gardens, and a hair raising bus ride up from touristy Amalfi).

Enjoy the reply boxes. Thanks.

Travel tips

  • Great fruit and veggie shop across the street. Ask them to pick out your items, don't go in and start touching things.
  • Bakery around the corner, and a wine and meat shop around another corner.
  • A small supermarket ten minutes away.
  • Down along the promenade along the sea (said to be one of the best on the Amalfi Coast) there is a very good wine shop (reasonable) called San Pietro, visible from the main drag.
  • Not far away is a delicious and cozy restaurant (lunch and dinner) called Mamma Rosa, with great Rome cuisine.
  • Sandwich shops are abundant, but be choosy.
  • Garden of Minerve worth seeing.
  • White local wines are Fiano, Falanghina, Greco. All great.

Unfortunately, Casa Mistral can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
