June 2023 - My son and I went to Casa Miriam C for 5 days in June and it was heavenly. The bus stop was directly in front of the villa and easy to access.

We loved everything about it!
May 2023 - Casa Miriam C is pure bliss! Surrounded by a beautiful garden, a lovely walk down to the sea, and just a mile outside of Sorrento, easily reached by bus (1.30 EU). Around the corner is a market where you can purchase anything you need to eat, and right across the street is a sweet family-run cafe. Staying at Casa Miriam C, we felt like we were living in a small, friendly village... There's also plenty of space for parking if you choose to drive.
We loved our time at Casa Miriam C. We loved everything about it!
We are impressed! We had a wonderful time and Summer In Italy was terrifically helpful.
Travel tips
- We enjoyed the walk to the nearby rocky beach (with a beautiful swimming hole) and morning coffee and breakfast right across the road.
- We don't recommend walking from Casa Miriam C into Sorrento -- the road is narrow. But the bus will drop you right in town in 10 minutes, and it arrives every 20 minutes, right across the road.
- We traveled from Naples to Sorrento by private driver -- and if you have bags, we recommend you do the same. The train is crowded during the summer months especially, and the drive will give you an opportunity to see some of the beautiful sights along the way.
- And trips by boat to Capri and train to Pompeii and Herculaneum are both highly recommended!

June 2022 - We spent a perfect week in the apartment. The location was excellent, the panini from the mini market around the corner are the best. It was also great that we could get fresh bread for breakfast from the mini market. Our dog was welcome, everyone was friendly and helpful.
We can only recommend Casa Miriam C, it certainly wasn't our last vacation here.

We had a wonderful time
July 2018 - We had a wonderful time at Casa Miriam C! The cottage has all the features you would ever need on holiday, without being overly fussy about up to date equipment, but the terrace / garden is wonderful and peaceful. We would recommend it for any couple who want a base that is perfectly quiet and private, but with easy access to the delights of Sorrento town.
The location is about 1.5 km / 30 mins walk from the centre of Sorrento, but the local bus which stops just outside is so easy and cheap to use, it is perfect for travelling to the centre.
The service from Summer In Italy has been first class from start to finish. We stumbled upon them by accident via the Internet, but have been extremely happy with all the information provided and found the regular newsletters very helpful and interesting.
Travel tips
- The Restaurant Kalimera next door is great for homemade Italian food, the quality (though not the choice) is as good as anywhere in town.
- There is a small deli around the corner where basics can be bought - both establishments have English speaking staff.

What a lovely place to stay!
May 2018 - What a lovely place to stay! The gardens were beautiful. It was a little far from the centre of town but there were regular buses from right outside the property. A great place to travel to all the sights from.
We had not used Summer In Italy before but would be very happy to use them again. Everything went very smoothly.
Travel tips
- It is very easy to organise trips to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Capri yourself so don't wast money on organised trips. We didn't find any queues anywhere.

- You are roughly 1.5 km from Sorrento. You could walk but there are no sidewalks so it is a bit precarious! But the bus runs frequently from across the street!
- There is a small grocery store that has everything you need, including a grouchy owner!
- The rock beach is well worth the walk downhill, and take the bridge to a wonderful restaurant!
- The beach in the fishing village is also worth the walk!
- There is a great family restaurant next door.

Nice that there is a coffee shop across the road and a restaurant beside. There is a store around the corner, it has essentials you need.
Miriam [the owner] was very accommodating upon our arrival and during our stay.

- Good location but you are outside of the town. Walk to the town is easy but walk back up hill is a little more challenging. However if you grab the Orange bus it stops right out the property so that is convenient.
- Take the time to walk the trail down to the grotto and have a swim there. It was one of my most enjoyable experiences.

The apartment was a little small for 4 adults and it would have been nice to have a couple of kitchen staples there when we arrived. The verandah is a nice area for relaxing.
It was nice to have a place to park our car and we were also close to town bus line.
I enjoyed working with Summer In Italy very much. Not only did we find an appointment, the info on their website and email was great.

September 2014 - Casa Miriam was a lovely simple place to stay. It was very clean and quiet. It was a little way out of Sorrento (ten minute bus ride) but it was a short walk away from a fantastic beach below roman ruins where you could sit on the rocks with the locals.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The owners are very friendly.
I'd be very happy to go back.

- Buy your bus ticket in town before you get on the bus!
- Try the Sorrento tomatoes, they're delicious.
- Be careful at the beach to stay inside the big rocks, they can be slippery and sharp!

August 2014 - We spent a week in Casa Miriam C and we enjoyed it a lot. The house is comfortable, it was ideal for our party of 3 people.
The location is perfect, a few steps from the bus stop to get to the center of the town or the beach. You can also walk to the beach, it's simple and takes only a few minutes. Near the property you can also find: grocery, bar, newsstand, post office. All in all, the perfect place for a holiday in Sorrento.
