October 2015 - We had a wonderful time while we stayed in Casa Marialuce A.

Not only did it have a great location, there were grocery stores, and many very good restaurants in walking distance.

We really loved hanging out on the terrace in the evenings. It was very relaxing, although the mosquitoes sometimes we're very plentiful.

We enjoyed everything about Casa Marialuce A.

I was very happy with Summer In Italy and found it easy to communicate with you and get the information that was needed.

Travel tips

  • Be sure to do the Path of the Gods.
  • 2 grocery stores close by, many restaurants within walking distance.
  • Restaurant Costa Diva allows you to dine under the lemon grove and provides excellent food.
  • Restaurant La Moressa and Restaurant M'Ama also has great food.
  • Be sure to pack insect repellent.
  • Use public transportation to travel from Sorrento to Ravello.

July 2015 - For our first visit to Praiano and the Amalfi Coast, Casa Marialuce A was the perfect villa to give us a true Amalfi experience and incredible holiday.

The villa is conveniently located a short walk from some of the areas with best restaurants, shops, transport etc. And has a view that can't be beaten. The villa is beautifully kept and in immaculate condition.

It was a truly relaxing and luxurious experience staying at Casa Marialuce A.

Summer In Italy provided an extremely helpful service that created a very smooth process. Thanks for all your help along the way!

June 2015 - We enjoyed every minute we spent in the apartment. We found the apartment to be everything as advertised and more, neat, tidy and exceptionally clean. Perfect!

Travel tips

  • It is a bit of a walk from the "meeting point" to Marialuce so pack light. Carrying bags up the stairs is a bit of a chore but well worth it once you are there.

September 2014 - Casa Marialuce A was beautiful, bright shiny and new.

All appliances, including stove, dishwasher, washer and air conditioner brand new and efficient. Modern and beautifully decorated and well equipped with many extras. Outdoor space was where we liked spending the most time. Outdoor furniture was comfortable, set up for easy conversation and also modern. Breathtaking views!

Everything was perfect!

Found Summer In Italy through web search. Deciding factor to book was quick and thorough responses provided by staff prior to booking. Once booked staff continued to assist with all questions regardless of how minor question may have been in a professional, prompt fashion. Made me feel reassured that our vacation plans were important to them. Thank You Summer In Italy staff!

Travel tips

  • Great restaurants close, both in town (which is a bit of a walk on very narrow streets) and in other direction at nearby hotels within few minutes.
  • Luca, the property manager, was very helpful and is a wealth of information on local restaurants, grocery stores, local events and tourist attractions.
  • Buses and convenient grocery store very close.
  • Car definitely not required.

September 2014 - Casa Marialuce A in Praiano is a beautiful immaculately presented apartment which is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We all had a wonderful holiday there.

Advice for Summer In Italy? Just continue to provide the superb service that you gave to us. Excellent! You thought of everything and made it so easy to us. A very big Grazie Mille again.

Travel tips

  • There is a very well stocked shop when turning right at the top of the pedestrian walkway which saves you dodging the traffic and tunnel on the busy Praiano road.
  • Alternatively the very helpful caretaker Luca will deliver your order (no charge) from his lovely Mamma Angela's shop in central Praiano.
  • Although we drove from Rome we used the buses during our stay. These can be very overcrowded at times, with a bit of a scrum when boarding!
  • Our favorite sight? The view from Casa Marialuce A terrace, all ours for the week!

Travel tips

  • Parking is a challenge but to be expected on the Amalfi Coast.
  • We left our car in secured parking and walked all over - using taxis and a water taxi.
  • Walk down to the local beach. Go early to secure your spot.
  • Get a water taxi to another village nearby.

June 2014 - We really loved our stay at Casa Marialuce A - we spent most of our time on the balcony which was a huge highlight. The bedrooms were also excellent. Hardly got a chance to use the lounge/dining area but it was set up well. The kitchen was fine and we enjoyed having some meals at home instead of going out.

We also received great support from Luca [the caretaker] who acted on behalf of the owners.

Travel tips

  • Being in Praiano was an excellent option instead of Positano or Amalfi.

Unfortunately, Casa Marialuce A can not be booked at this time.
