November 2015 - Casa Margot was beautiful, the view was wonderful and the village was peaceful.

The landlord was very nice, he gave us eggs and limoncello.

Travel tips

  • The location is fine for visiting the Amalfi Coast.
  • Places between Napoli and Sorrento are a bit far, the transportation by bus is quite long.

May 2015 - There are so many positives to Casa Margot...

The terrace is huge and offers beautiful views of the sea, Positano and Capri. The house is very clean and well equipped. The main bedroom is large and comfortable with an entrance to the terrace. The second bedroom is small but is adequate for one person. There is also an entrance to the terrace from the living room.

The owner and his parents are very nice people and make you feel welcome.

We would highly recommend Casa Margot to anyone looking for a beautiful place on the Amalfi Coast.

Summer In Italy was a pleasure to work with. It was so easy and I felt safe using them.

Travel tips

  • Praiano is a quiet non-touristy town although you can catch the bus on the main road to go to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello if you want to mix with the tourists.
  • The bus service is great. A car is definitely not needed due to the buses on the main street.
  • There are a number of good restaurants located on the main street (as well as a small grocery store). All restaurants in Praiano are good and have beautiful views of the sea.
  • Beware that there is a healthy walk to and from the main street (the house is situated on a cliff overlooking the sea). We were able to walk off all the good pasta!
  • There are many steps to the rocky beach area.
