October 2014 - Casa Genziana D is a beautiful place, only 2 miles from the freeway... It is quite easy to get to the Chianti area and lots of small villages. Lucignano, 4 miles away, is a lovely hillside town with fantastic restaurants.

September 2012 - We loved Casa Genziana. It was all we'd hoped for: beautiful, peaceful, and also perfectly situated.

Kitchen well equipped, bathroom luxurious. Spotlessly clean. Hot tub just behind the pool -- under a canopy of leafy vines and looking out at landscaped grounds with olive trees - was an unanticipated bonus.

June 2012 - Casa Genziana D is a beautiful apartment. We found it very comfortable and well equipped and did not lack anything.

We loved the small terrace which gets the sun all day and spent many hours sitting there looking out over the beautiful well maintained gardens.

I came across Summer in Italy by chance when looking for property to rent in this area. The help and service we received was excellent, and a lot of helpful information was supplied. I would not hesitate in recommending the company to anyone. Thank you for helping us to have a wonderful holiday!

October 2010 - If you are looking for a quiet place to hang out after a busy day exploring Tuscany, then this is the place. Nicely located for easy drives to Siena, Cortona and Montepulciano.

The beautiful pool and gardens and the chance to sit and have a quiet glass of wine after a long day.

August 2009 - We had such a wonderful time! We're telling all our friends back home in New york about it and we even have some friends who we think are going to book their next vacation at Casa Genziana D based on our recommendation.

Our one issue with the living room was that the 2 separate chairs are not comfortable or easy to relax in. We tried pushing them together so we could sit together and watch TV, but we still couldn't get comfortable. Other than that, we were very pleased. The views from our room were breathtaking, the landscape couldn't have been more perfect, the pool was so well kept, and the family was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay at Casa Genziana D again!

Summer in Italy made us feel like we were in good hands during the planning of our trip. You run a very professional and impressive company. The emails and newsletters got us excited for the trip and everyone was also very responsive to our questions, either over the phone or by email. Overall five star rating. We will definitely book through Summer in Italy again.

The property manager, Ms. Michela, is one of the nicest, most helpful people I've ever dealt with at a vacation spot.

Your staff was very helpful and their recommendations were right on. They found the perfect place for our family based on our e-mail communications with them. When we return to Italy, we will book with you again!

June 2005 - Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by how beautifully the house had been remodeled and how well the grounds were maintained.

Michela [the owner] was a beautiful hostess, friendly and helpful.

We loved the location - quite central to many places we were interested in visiting. We loved Rigomano! The Colle degli Ulivi was great fun. We met some really exceptional people. Lucignano is a gem.

You had the best, most user-friendly of any of the web sites I explored during our pre-trip planning. I especially liked your thorough, at times humorous, pages of preparatory instructions and advice. Very Boy Scout like!!!

April 2005 - From the moment we arrived we were both taken back by the beautifully maintained grounds. There were potted geraniums in the windows and up the stairs. There were also potted olive trees around the grounds and hedges of fragrant rosemary! Everything I imagined a Tuscan farmhouse to be in my mind was what we had and we haven't even gotten inside yet!

The interior of Casa Genziana D is warm, cozy, newly renovated and immaculate. Michela [the owner] doesn't miss one thing when it comes to stocking her villas with the basic necessities. The travertine marble bathroom is modern & roomy. Michela even includes 2 plush terry cloth robes for guests!

We felt welcome with this level of care and attention to detail, we felt very cared for.

When you're traveling abroad staying at Casa Genziana D is the next best thing to being in the comforts of your own home. We cannot say enough positive things regarding the farmhouse or Michela.

Everything Summer In Italy promised would happen next, happened next. I decided to book through you because your website was so user friendly and I was able to read feedback about you and your villas from past guests. The entire process of ordering our villa was simple and quick. We will be back & we will tell our friends about you! Casa Genziana D was much more than we ever expected! Thank you!
