Great terrace, perfect for a quiet breakfast

July 2017 - Casa Concerto C had a great terrace which was perfect for a quiet breakfast. The shared pool was very enjoyable and refreshing and the lounge chairs were great for reading.

Travel tips

  • The apartment is very close to Montecatini and Montecatini Alto which are both very lively and have lots to see.

August 2015 - We had a fabulous holiday, it exceeded expectations, the write up does not do it justice.

There is good air-conditioning. The kitchen area is small but hey who wants to do a lot of cooking on holiday?!! There is a large fridge/freezer. The view from the terrace is great. The pool is lovely, really good for kids as it is quite shallow, there were also some inflatables and pool toys probably left by other guests. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time, it felt like we had own private villa.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.

I always found Summer In Italy very helpful. I would use you again.

Travel tips

  • Well positioned for seeing all the sights.
  • There is a small shop in walking distance and two supermarkets within a few minutes drive, Coop is the best. There is a large Coop you will pass if you drive from Pisa.
  • Take the train to Florence, two stations in town. Great service on double decker trains, really cheap too! Don't bother with land train in town, not much to see.
  • Do funicular up to Montecatini alto, beautiful views and piazza.
  • If you are visiting Pisa and want to go up the tower, pre book a timed ticket online as we arrived and would have had to wait 5 hours for next time.
  • Don't waste time going to see the sea...
  • If you look up from the pool you will see Massa & Cozzile in the hills, go and visit, they are worth it just for the views.
  • Visit local farms for an authentic olive oil experience and horse riding. One of them is just a few minutes drive from the apartment.

September 2013 - Casa Concerto was a very comfortable place to stay. The owners are very friendly. It is in a very quiet location with wonderful views.

Summer in Italy were excellent to deal with, they responded to queries very quickly and provided me with a thorough guide for renting the property. I would definitely use Summer in Italy again for booking accommodation - thank you for your assistance with our booking.

  • You need a car to stay in this apartment as is a few kilometres out of town, but a spot with wonderful views.
