Fantastic

April 2015 - We had a fabulous time in Casa Briza.

The house is lovely with every modern convenience, and everything you could wish for was provided.

The advice to hire a small car is well considered as the drive up to the house is quite narrow, with many twists and turns. Fun!

Summer In Italy had the best range of accommodation in the Sorrento area - and were very useful in helping us choose. Also prompt responses - and good, clear communications.

August 2013 - The surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful!

Travel tips

  • Book this rental only if you are comfortable driving in very narrow, sharp turning conditions. The driveway to the villa is very challenging.

July 2013 - We spent one of our best holidays at Casa Briza. The view is amazing, you can not forget it.

The road to the house from the main street is a little difficult but when you get there it is like a dream. The house is new or recently renovated, everything is in best condition.

The owner is at your disposal with informations.

I strongly recommend it especially for the view, I will remember it for all of my life!

June 2013 - We did enjoy Casa Briza very much. It is somewhat challenging to get to it, which put us in rather an odd state of mind when we first arrived. I would advise guests to rent a very small car -- no bigger than a 500 Fiat or understand that they will be parking on the street and walking up and down the road and driveway. Also, a bus runs all day from the bottom of the street into Sorrento, from where you can get to mostly anyplace you wish. If the owner (who is amazing, charming, generous and wonderful as is his family) could figure out some way to collect guests on their initial arrival, there is no need for a car unless the guests plan trips to places not served by the regional busses, boats or trains. For example, we we went to Pompei, Ercolano, Naples and Capri without the car.

We wanted the house because we saw that dining table with that view! One never tires of looking at it. It is fantastic to sit and eat and drink on that little balcony.

The grounds and the footpath to Sorrento provide lots of opportunities to walk and enjoy the beauty of the land. The people are lovely and friendly.

Casa Briza is a great place to rest and relax.

Travel tips

  • There is a bus between Sorrento and Priora running about every hour between 7 AM and 9 PM. From Sorrento you can take the Circumvesuviana train to Pompei, Herculaneum and Naples and beaches. You can get to Naples by boat as well. So if you rent a car you might only need it for a day or two, to arrive and lay in supplies from Saint Agata and then rely on the public transport. You should also rent the smallest car you can. Then relax in this exquisitely built house and enjoy the lemon groves and olive groves, lovely old walls and the beautiful view.

Fantastic

May 2013 - We were very happy with our stay at Casa Briza. The house was big enough to accommodate our group of 7 (two families with 3 small children altogether). It was clean, well equipped and our hosts were helpful and attentive.

The children loved the garden and as a parent of a small child I was glad to find that it was quite safe environment: no stairs or other dangerous objects in the house, safe garden, no traffic on the street etc.

The house is situated on a hillside above Sorrento thus we had an amazing view over the bay from the balcony. We only managed to park on the main road as the street that leads to the house is extremely narrow with hairpin bends and we just didn't want to risk scratching the rented cars. It was a 2-3 minute walk uphill which wasn't a big deal, although, I wouldn't recommend this place to someone who is less mobile or disabled.

When we moved in and out Mario was nice enough to carry our luggage with his car. It's bit of a journey to get into Sorrento: takes about 10-15 minutes to get there and then you still need to find parking place. So you need to plan ahead with daily shopping, meals, trips.

All in all we had a fantastic stay and I would go back anytime.

You guys were really exceptionally helpful and provided us with a lot of useful information. Also thanks for arranging the extras that we asked for. I would definitely use your services again!

May 2013 - We loved our stay at Casa Briza! The house is very beautiful, the garden was wonderful and safe for our children (2 children 3 and 1 years old). And the view, there are no words to describe the view!!!

The owner was very kind, very helpful. We thank him again for receiving us in Sorrento!

This was our first holiday in Italy and we will absolutely come again! Thank you!

Travel tips

  • Don't come with a big car, the road to the house is very narrow.
  • Sorrento and Amalfi coast are beautiful, very well situated to visit Pompei, Ercolano or Napoli.
  • Not easy to park in Sorrento, parking for a day costs 15 euro which is reasonable.
  • Capri is wonderful but the boat is very expensive.

April 2013 - We had a lovely week in Casa Briza. The view is outstanding and the villa is very nice and spacious.

You were very friendly and helpful.

Travel tips

  • Not for nervous drivers. The road up is extremely narrow and walled in places. Make sure you have comprehensive hire car insurance.

October 2012 - The view from the terrace at Casa Briza is breathtaking. We enjoyed our time in this very clean and comfortable house.

Luigi [the owner] and his lovely daughter, Stefania were most welcoming and helpful.

Luca, we love Summer in Italy and always have a great experience whenever we rent from you. Thanks for everything, we love you guys!!

Travel tips

  • The view from the terrace at Casa Briza is breathtaking, but the drive up to was absolutely terrifying! There is nothing over here in America to compare to that drive up the mountain. Brave Europeans probably wouldn't feel the same way!

July 2012 - Very nice apartment with beautiful view. We enjoyed it very much.

Parking next to apartment is difficult with bigger car (Opel Zafira), the road is narrow and sloping with 180 degree corner :) but there is parking possibility 300 m away from the apartment.

The owner is very helpful.

Your services is on very high level, I was very satisfied, the voucher and itinerary was perfect. You are the best travel agency that I have ever contacted.

Travel tips

  • If the guest is not brave and good driver and they have normal car not small then they make it better to leave the car the first parking place that the owner suggests.

Unfortunately, Casa Briza can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
