Great location

July 2017 - Casa Aminata was a perfect apartment for my husband, infant son and I. This is a great location and provides a great view of Positano, especially from the pool terrace.

Clelia [the owner] was an excellent host, answered questions and provided us with relevant info about nearby amenities. She quickly rectified any concerns and accommodated our arrival and departure schedule which was slightly outside of the normal hours.

Summer In Italy was great to work with. Very responsive and handled all of our needs, from accommodations, to car service, to bag storage. I would definitely use them again.

Travel tips

  • There is local transportation nearby, though we never used it as we found the steps to be quite convenient.
  • The closest grocery store is about a 10 minute walk down the steps, while the beach and downtown shops are about 25 minutes down. If you're prepared for steps, there's nothing bad about this location.
  • There's also a great pizza restaurant steps away. Best to call ahead to get a table with a panoramic view of the village below.
