We enjoyed our stay at Appartamento Rina B, the location was great

October 2019 - We enjoyed our stay at Appartamento Rina B. The location was great, and while on a main street, with lots of shops, restaurants and even a grocery store, once you entered the big wooden doors to the property you were transported to a scene from a movie. Marbled floors and walls and a cage type elevator so reminiscent of Europe.

The living area of the apartment is small with a table and two chairs, centered between the kitchen and sofa/extra bed, but it had everything for a comfortable stay, with a good sized bedroom and space to store your clothes in the hall between the two.

It is a nice little apartment, convenient to many of the areas attractions and has all the necessary equipment for cooking if you choose to do so. The apartment was well equipped and we appreciate all the little things that were there for us, like the hair dryer, the step stool to get in and out of the shower. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your unit.

Travel tips

  • The location gives you access to a variety of shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and more right on the street where the apartment is located.
  • There are buses and a subway close by, but we did not use them because one of us has knee and breathing issues.
  • It is close to the Vatican, if you don't have any problems walking you could do so.
  • If you plan to visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel I suggest you purchase tickets ahead of time for an early morning tour before it opens to the public. It is very large so allow yourself enough time to see it. It also gets very, very crowded later in the day, making it difficult to enjoy, and see everything you want to see. Other places like the Fontana di Trevi are also very crowded.
  • Be aware that if you take a taxi, they have either a set rate, and sometimes at the end of the ride it bumps of a few euros, which I can only guess is a built in tip, or when you approach a taxi near one of the tourist attractions they quote you a flat fee, no matter the distance. You can say no and look for another taxi, and we did find other drivers giving us a lower price. Just keep your wits about you at all times.

Excellent location

January 2019 - The location of this apartment is excellent and Mr. Pietro was a most gracious host.

The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen had reasonable accessories. The kitchen table and all chairs were not comfortable. After a long day of touring Rome, would be nice to have a comfortable chair to relax in. All that said, the apartment worked out ok, mostly due to location and quiet.

I like the services and excellent communication of Summer in Italy. I chose you because I've used your services in the past and have been satisfied. I like the security of working with a reputable company.

Travel tips

  • Most everything I needed was right in the vicinity and many local attractions were a short walk away. The metro is a 10-minute walk and very convenient.
  • Despite the busy, local area, the apartment noise was minimal due to it facing an inside courtyard.

Excellent

October 2010 - In all fairness Rina B is a small apartment but it is in a excellent location for sightseeing in Rome.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and has a clever use of space. It is more suited to a couple, it was a challenge with a family of four. Our bed was comfortable to sleep in at the end of a busy day sightseeing. We were able to self cater for breakfast each day, why eat in when Rome is on your doorstep. There is any number of places to eat not far from the apartment.

Travel tips

  • Be aware the apartment is small, but if you want a hot shower and a comfortable bed at the end of each day then the apartment caters well to that.
  • There is a washing machine and a drying rack to put up in the room. There is a good size fridge, TV plus wireless internet. The apartment is secure.
  • We enjoyed traveling on the double-decker buses, you can get on ad off as you like at the various sights. Purchase a 24hr ticket.

Excellent

March 2010 - We liked Appartamento Rina B. It was small, but comfortable. The location was very good, about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican.

Everything worked and the kitchen was well outfitted.

The owner/manger was very friendly and helpful. She told us if we had questions, leave her a note outside the front door. We did this and had an answer quickly.

You do an outstanding job helping visitors feel at home in your beautiful country.

Travel tips

  • I would recommend Appartamento Rina B to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Rome at a reasonable price.
  • It was a good location, close to shops, restaurants, supermarket and sights.
  • We enjoyed just taking off walking with a map of Rome and seeing the city with all of its beautiful landmarks.

Excellent

March 2010 - Appartamento Rina B was lovely: a nice, quiet, clean, comfortable apartment in a beautiful building in a very nice part of Rome!

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at SummerInItaly. You were friendly, professional, nice and courteous. Excellent service!

Travel tips

  • Be prepared to walk a bit to the main sites: this apartment is quite close, but like most places in Rome good walking shoes are required!

Unfortunately, Appartamento Rina B can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
