April 2011 - We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was close to everything. The train station is nearby a few minutes by taxi. It was a little cool at the end of March.

The owner was very helpful on our arrival with his explanations and hints on what to visit. There are maps in the entrance table drawer.

It was very easy to book the apartment and we felt that there was somebody making sure we were well treated. Thank you so much.

Travel tips

  • Make sure you take a bus tour to the Amalfi coast.

September 2010 - We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was only a short walk from the station and the main town and was close to some good local shops.

the caretaker was excellent and the apartment was clean and homely. We had a lovely time.

Travel tips

  • We ate in Restaurant Taverna Allegra and it was beautiful.
  • The greengrocers close to the house was superb and the owner was very patient with our poor Italian.

May 2010 - Appartamento Filemone was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities that you would expect.

The walk up to the apartment was steep but not too steep as to be a nuisance. Overall it was a clean and quiet place and I would recommend it.

Your service was very good. All the information you sent us was accurate and well laid out. It was very helpful.

Travel tips

  • Public transport is very cheap and reliable in Sorrento. Use this rather than go for the dearer private tours.
  • I found the local people to be very pleasant and helpful.
