September 2012 - Welcome to paradise. This is a fantastic place to stay with views that never cease to amaze!

Dominique [a member of the staff] was extremely helpful and friendly.

The grounds were absolutely lovely. It made you just want to stay put. Everything else made the many steps worthwhile. I only hope I can return to this spot again someday.

The parking lot was a great asset also.

Dominique [the caretaker] was a great host and got us discounts at several places. It seems everyone in Minori knows him.

The only "downer" was that Italy lost the Eurocup.

June 2012 - We loved Appartamento Emanuele!

The apartment has everything you need and service is friendly, but it's the views/terrace and its setting within the spectacular villa that make it truly magical.

The Villa is ideal on two levels - some of our guests were perfectly happy not to leave the villa for the whole week, it's that magical and restful and self contained (provided someone runs out for lunch/dinner supplies!). Likewise, it is very close to towns either side for outings.

August 2011 - Perfect location, and a beautiful compound with extremely nice staff. The kitchen wasn't the best (only a stove top, no oven), but if you don't plan to cook much, it's just fine.

July 2011 - Appartamento Emanuele is one of the most spectacular places I've stayed in many decades of travelling. Dominic [the caretaker] was very generous to show us the best grocery shops and relay the local history and culture.

The off street car parking was fantastic and I highly recommend having a car if you stay here.

June 2011 - Our second stay -- a truly wonderful experience that far surpasses a sterile hotel. Dominic [the caretaker] is the epitome of hospitality -- he made sure our daughter's stuffed pet was mailed back to us. A truly kind soul -- and a renaissance man to boot!

May 2009 - Excellent place, especially when traveling with your car as parking is very convenient.

From the villa all major places of Amalfi coast are within reach.

The villa's territory is nicely decorated, good pool and easy access to sea.

Luggage handling help when moving in and moving out was very helpful.

August 2008 - We had a wonderful week at Appartamento Emanuele. The view was stunning as anticipated and the weather was glorious although a little too warm for me!

The staff were very helpful especially Dominique who watered my mother in law as well as the plants !

We managed to cook some great meals despite the tiny kitchen.

Most of all we had a lot of fun jumping into the sea and relaxing by the pool.

Italy is the most beautiful place.

We booked with Summer in Italy because the website was eye-catching & easy to negotiate & we have no regrets because it all went so smoothly. I would recommend them to friends & family.

July 2008 - Appartamento Emanuele is a hidden treasure, you wouldn't really know it is there, but when you go through the gate what a beautiful surprise that lays behind the road side.

We were greeted by Dominic [from the staff at the villa], who really is a character and was such a pleasure to meet and have there throughout our holiday, if you need anything through your stay he is your man and nothing is too much trouble.

The apartments are traditional Italian decor and quite basic, but are fully equipped for everything you need.

The location of the apartment gives you the most breath taking views over the Amalfi cost and the neighbouring town.

Would recommend to anyone and everyone to go there.

Summer in Italy has been a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking and answered all questions promptly, couldn't have asked for anything more.

May 2008 - We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast included and the every day maid service was certainly a step above places we have rented by the week in the past.

The swimming pool in addition to the ocean access for a swim was perfect.

We liked to cook in every evening so we did miss having an oven in the kitchen but we worked around that pretty easily.

We will return as soon as we can. The service and atmosphere of the property is fantastic.

We thought your service was excellent. We travel to Italy every year and we will certainly look at your properties again.

October 2006 - Our group of 4 thought it was the most beautiful location for our holidays that we had ever stayed.

We found ourselves not wanting to leave the villa to even sight see.

Help at the villa (Domenico and the two ladies that served and cleaned) were top notch. Piero was great and helped us with anything we needed as well.

Based upon the pictures on the web site, we had high expectations and we were not disappointed. This property is a treasure that offers the best of the Amalfi coast.

The staff on site were terrific, especially Dominic. They were very fiendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The staff is very helpful and accessable. Extra towels? No problem. More coffee or an extra croissant? No problem.

The apartment itself was even more comfortable than we anticipated from the website pictures.

We would recommend this property highly, and stay there ourselves again. Also, the parking was a great bonus!

Easy to catch a bus to town (2 miles which is walkable).

Parking was also wonderful, don't know what we would have done without it.

Weather was perfect, there was a full moon early in the week.

Had a GREAT time. Very relaxing - playing cards on the patio, swimming in the sea, etc., etc.

Pietro and Dominique [the staff] were both wonderful and so much help.

July 2004 - We had high expectations of the week spent at Appartamento Emanuele and every one of them was not just met but far exceeded.

From the moment we stepped through the front entrance to the the day we had to leave we were delighted with every aspect of the villa. The beautiful view, the strolls along the flower lined paths with every direction a feast for the eyes with its statues, urns and exquisite decor.

The friendly staff and the cleanliness all made our stay wonderful.

We will tell all our friends about our stay and will remember it forever.

July 2004 - Appartamento Emanuele was just perfect. The appartment was very clean and spacious! The artwork and the furniture we just beautiful. The view - WHAT A VIEW! We all felt like we were in a dream!

The kids did say they wished for a larger television however................

Summer in Italy was very professional, personable and very efficient. Our questions were always answered in the most kindess manner. Summer in Italy seemed to have the nicest rentals and the photos and very descriptive details really helped us decide where we wanted to stay.

July 2004 - We adored our time at Appartamento Emanuele. The location was perfect. The accommodations were very fine. We loved the pool and beach access. The morning breakfast was always a pleasure. The staff was friendly and very accommodating-we had access to taxi service, restaurant finds and boat trips!

The view and the area were so beautiful that we took quite a few breathtaking pictures.

We have traveled to Italy before-but this location and this villa were more than we expected.

April 2004 - Appartamento Emanuele is bit of heaven put here on earth. The view from the main bedroom, dining room and living area along with friendly staff is spectacular. There is plenty room on the property to let the kids run around and even play with the lemon trees.

The villa location allows you take advantage of sites south and north of Naples. The parking is more than adequate for a mountainous area.

In summary we are coming back next year.

June 2003 - Appartamento Emanuele was wonderful--the apartment was just perfect for the four of us, though 6 would be fine if everyone is considerate about the bathroom.

It was fabulous to have a pool and the proximity to the sea was appreciated (not too many more steps!!). The parking was a godsend. If you are driving, come before dark on Saturday night. The drive in can be tricky.

October 2002 - The villa is a gem on the Amalfi coast. I would think there are few villas that are as charming and beautiful as this.

From gazing at the sea from your balcony to picking figs from their fig tree, the villa has much to be desired and is a perfect place for those who appreciate the history and style of Italia. It is like a gift waiting to be opened.

September 2002 - We had the most amazing time at Appartamento Emanuele and I will be recommending it to everyone. The people that worked there were incredibly friendly and helpful and the Prince kindly showed us around the tower (when I cheekily asked!). The other guests were also great.

August 2002 - Appartamento Emanuele was a fantastic choice for our last week in Italy. The property is absolutely breathtaking and the staff were extremely gracious. The history of the property was also very fascinating and I am sure many guests would appreciate spending time here. The location was superb as whether you drove nearby or ask for a boat to pick you up at the property and take you to one of the many visiting points of interest.

I would however, make mention to future people who book the Appartamento Emanuele about the 125 steps from the street to the apartment. While we had no problems, it would be highly recommended for those who may not be able to manage.

We will definitely be in touch for future stays and of course I have already given your name and email to friends for future stays too. It was a pleasure working with you and I wish you much success.
