Our time here was amazing!
October 2023 - Our time at Appartamento Don Mimi was amazing! The apartment is much bigger than we expected based on pictures. It is located in a busy plaza which was nice when we didn’t want to go far for drinks or meals. One thing to note is that the entire apartment has air conditioning. We were pleasantly surprised to have it.
Ms. Rita [the caretaker] met us and provided details. She also gave us several restaurant recommendations. Rita is quick to reply to questions.
Our experience with Summer In Italy was excellent. We reserved an apartment in 2017 but weren’t able to take the trip. Luca worked with us to put a credit on hold until we could finally make our trip to Sorrento. We really appreciated his patience and kindness.
Travel tips
- For those unable or unwilling to walk up a lot of stairs from the marina to Sorrento downtown, know that there is an elevator (1 Euro). Make sure to ask how to find it.

July 2023 - Absolutely fabulous apartment in a great location. Very close to all shops and restaurants. Very spacious. Air conditioning during heatwave was a life saver.
Our host Rita was great, very welcoming and spent time showing me around apartment.
Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Sorrento. Can't wait to go back.

- Enjoyed boat trips to Capri, took the cable car on Capri.
- Another boat trip to Positano and Amalfi. Great way to see and travel to the area.

Located in an ideal spot
May 2018 - My family of 6 adults stayed in this spacious 2 story apartment on the Piazza Tasso. It was very comfortable and clean. The space is beautiful and very modern.
Appartamento Don Mimi is located in an ideal spot, we were able walk to restaurants very easily. Of course you will need to climb about 30 steps to get to the entrance. We would recommend this apartment to all. We enjoyed our time here!
