May 2013 - We enjoyed the experience at Appartamento Cornelia.

The area was more a residential area and so required a car to travel to the more scenic areas/lake side/department stores/pharmacy/bank. Also we expected the apartment and swimming pool to be larger from the photos. However overall the place was clean and fairly central and comfortable.

If we had come as 4 adults + 2 children as originally planned then the apartment would have been a bit small. But for 2 adults and 2 children it was fine.

Travel tips

  • A car will be useful to get around Lenno and the nearby towns. However you can also walk down to the boat hire or to Lenno Ferry in 15 mins to travel by boat.
  • Nice restaurants in Tremezzo and Menaggio.

August 2011 - My family and I were amazed at the amount of room we had, the location and views were superb, very friendly welcome would definitely stay again in the future.

Travel tips

  • Supermarket 5 minute drive with all you need.
  • Ossuccio nice and central to the lake.
  • The isle of Comacina is lovely, worth a trip. We took a picnic.
