- The location is perfect in Praiano. Straight down to the beach where there are restaurants and the view is spectacular.

- There is so much to see and do.
- Our favorite place was Restaurant Open Gate. Good was fantastic, Stefania and her family were so helpful and went above and beyond to give us information and assistance.
- Our only negative was the buses. We found it difficult to get around as they were always packed and had no room for more passengers.
- We did use the water taxis which are more expensive than the bus but offered their own experience that should be discovered!

October 2018 - Appartamento Annarosa A was fantastic and we had a wonderful stay there! Incredible views and excellent layout for two couples. We ate every meal outside and enjoyed the peace, quiet and privacy of the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and in good working order.
We walked down to the store (0.3 miles) and back a couple of times each day and also walked down into the center of town (0.6 mile) and to several nearby restaurants (0.5 miles) for a couple of evening meals. We enjoyed plenty of exercise at this house!
We enjoyed working with Summer In Italy and found that everything worked smoothly and as expected. Your personnel were prompt and helpful in answering our questions about the accommodations prior to booking.
Travel tips
- The beds were typical European beds... Thinner, firmer and less comfortable to us, as Americans. We are used to American style mattresses which are thick and usually pillow-topped. Thus, although the bedrooms were very nice with a lovely view, we didn't sleep very well.
- There is no parking close to the accommodation, so if you have a car, you will need to find a parking space which may be more than half a mile from the apartment.
- The closest road is about 0.3 miles down the hill from the house so you need to be prepared to pack your clothing, groceries, etc. At least that far, up the hill to the house.
- There is a good paved path and steps, so you can pull a roller bag or ride a scooter but it is fairly steep in places, so this is not an apartment for someone with mobility issues or any heart or lung problems.

Actually, it seemed like a whole house because it was very spacious. Everything was comfortable and very pleasant.

- Ristorante La Strada was our favorite place to wine and dine. The owners, Nicola and Daniella are fabulous people and treat you like family.
- Pasquale at Tutto Per Tutti (bottega) was another great person we had the pleasure of meeting. Not only he delivered our groceries so we didn't have to lug them ourselves but he was a great local guide providing us with many local tips.

- We took a cab from the Naples train station, and asked him to come back on our day of departure to pick us up. Best decision we could have made. Could not have imagined the four of us on 2 buses with all our luggage. And we would do it all again!!

July 2017 - Appartamento Annarosa A is a very nice, well decorated and quiet apartment. The location is absolutely beautiful with the most wonderful view and a short walk to a nice, small beach with some delicate restaurants.
The two terrasses are fantastic - the only thing we missed was a breakfast table in the shade of the olive trees.
There is a long walk from the parking place to the apartment, but this was only a challenge when we arrived and left with all our luggage.
All in all a place that is highly recommended!
Travel tips
- A visit to the volcano Vesuvio is worth the trip. When coming from north it is only a short detour on the way to Appartamento Annarosa.
- When arriving - leave the luggage at the entrance of the pedestrian area before parking the car. That will save you from a lot of sweat.

July 2017 - Appartamento Annarosa A was really nice, comfortable, with wonderful seaview.
We had only one problem: as we were travelling by car, we needed a parking near our house. There were no road, no parking. We could park approximately at 800 meters, leave the there and then bring our luggage by hand. It was not convenient because we were very tired.
The appartamento is a very pleasant place without any doubt.
It was the first time with your agency but I hope not last! Thank you for your advices and detailed description!
Travel tips
- You have to be ready walk to the beach downstairs and return upstairs. But the way is really awesome. There are many boats company in the beach, so you can go to Capri, Amalfi, Positano to tour or just for lunch. Petit restaurant on the beach always has fresh seafood and it's friendly and personal.

September 2016 - The Apartment was just lovely, it certainly had the WOW factor for us, it was decorated beautifully, the view was fabulous and little garden enchanting.
Although only 300 steps to the main road the apartment was up so high it was very quiet. We found the location very convenient. La Praia Beach was down the 300 steps, thru a tunnel and down a slope. At La Praia you can catch the Sita bus which gives you access to the rest of the coast you can also catch a boat to Capri. There are plenty of restaurants at La Praia and a great night club. 500 meters away was The Tutto Per Tutti shop, a general store with a fantastic deli and produce they will deliver to the door it was too easy!
Only thing that would have added to our stay was free wi-fi as getting any connection even for mobiles was touch.
Travel tips
- If arriving from Salerno catch the Sita to Amalfi and then another Sita to Praiano and then the local bus up to the Tutto Per Tutti shop although it can take most of the day! We caught the Sita to Amalfi and then a taxi from Amalfi to the Tutto Per Tutti shop and it cost 52 Euros, however it's worth checking the prices of the taxi from Salerno all the way as they were quite cost effective. If coming from Sorrento catch the Sita Bus all the way into Praiano and then a local taxi or local bus to the Tutto Per Tutti shop.
- The nearest place that the taxi or local bus can drop you off at for Appartamento Annarosa A is at the Tutto Per Tutti shop. This is approximately 500 meters from the apartment along a pedestrian walk way that includes 1 steep slope and 2 other sets of steps. Day to day comings and goings is no problem and it's what you'd expect on the Amalfi Coast. However when you have luggage it's a whole different ball game. We were offered someone to help us with our luggage - we would recommend this service for arriving and departing.
- On arrival it might be worth getting some groceries from the Tutto Per Tutti shop and ask them to deliver for you, it's a free service as there are no provisions in the apartment and it's a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll (so to speak) when you're tried and hungry.
- La Praia Beach is below the apartment to get there you have to descend 300 steps to get to the main road, then walk thru a tunnel and down a slope to the beach which is small and stoney but has good facilities including restaurants, boat rides and a fantastic nightclub in the evenings. If walking back up the 300 steps at night there are light switches on the walls to light the way.
- There is a local bus which you can catch near the Tutto Per Tutti shop which is a circular that goes into Praiano and Positano and back, you can get the tickets on the bus. However the Sita Bus takes you to Amalfi and further afield you need to get tickets prior to boarding. This can be a hassle from Appartamento Annarosa A, as the closest Sita Bus stop is at the bottom of the 300 stairs at La Praia Beach and you can't purchase tickets there. So we recommend purchasing multiple tickets so you always have some on hand. Make sure you get updated bus timetables as the ones displayed and in the apartment are often not correct and you can spend your whole day waiting for buses!

- Enjoy dining and having a glass of wine or limoncello on ice on this superb terrace.
- We took a day trip to Capri from Marina di Praia, the beach next to the apartment, it's worth the money: you can see the best of Capri little bays that you can't see from a ferry. The island is a gem, I'd like to spend a week to enjoy everything: the sea, Anacapri, the late evening atmosphere, after tourist "invasion", Axel Munthe villa (San Michele), the ruins of Tiberius villa, etc.

May 2016 - There were two sixty plus couples staying one week. We enjoyed our stay very much. The trip to and from the apartment each day was a challenge because of the steps but that is the trade off for a good view. The kitchen could have been better equipped and the fireplace was not usable [it's for decorative purposes only].
The booking was easy and the photos represent very well. Very easy to work with this company and I would recommend them again and and plan to use them on our next trip.
Travel tips
- If you want to rest and relax buy your food from the local grocer and tuck yourself in with a kindle and enjoy the view.
- A lot of steps to climb. The local buses are the best way to get around but you may have to stand a lot as they can be crowded. Still better than driving though. I would recommend this for the view and the peaceful atmosphere but I would think younger people would not find it close enough to the action.
- The recycling that is required is a royal pain... too many bags for too much sorting. It was confusing to say the least and made mealtimes a pain on cleanup.
