Villa Marcella, Amalfi

Villa Marcella is a characteristic and welcoming independent house located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Marcella you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Villa Marcella is 170 square meters (1830 square feet). It features a spacious private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 3 km (1.9 miles) from the center of Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile), a grocery store at 400 meters (440 yards), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Pogerola line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) including 400 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Marcella from the street level going up a short public walkway that includes approximately 60 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Marcella. If you do have one, you will be able to park it free of charge in a parking space. The parking space is suitable for at most one car.

The terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a perfumed bougainvillea pergola. It is equipped with tables, chairs, a sun umbrella and deck chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi.

The living room is paved with tiles with handmade decoration, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are warm and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. Here you will find a bunk bed (two single beds, one on top of the other). The furnishings include two sofas. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has three windows with a view of the sea.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the terrace. The room also has a window.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the sea and of the coastline. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. The room has two windows with a view of the sea and of the coastline. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a mini refrigerator.

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a wood sofa and a desk. The room has a window with a view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
