Villa Amica is a romantic and welcoming two-story apartment located in a picturesque neighborhood of Positano. It sleeps four people. From Villa Amica you will enjoy a fascinating view of the beach and of the sea and of Positano. Villa Amica is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a nice private terrace with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in the historic center of Positano, a few meters (feet) from the stop for the local bus. You will find the closest restaurant at 150 meters (490 feet), a grocery store at 200 meters (220 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at roughly 800 meters (half a mile). You will reach Villa Amica from the street level going up a public walkway that includes approximately 70 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Amica. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, in a garage.
Villa Amica is located in the historical area of Positano and in one of the most beautiful panoramic places of the town: the villa is an old house built attached to the middle part of that high rocky spur overlooking the sea and which seems to “sustain” the main and most picturesque part of Positano, photographed and printed in every postcard.
From every angle of the house you will enjoy a panorama of incredible beauty which consists of the sea, the beach, and part of Positano, all right below you.
In front of you are the sun, the sea, and a fascinating view of a side of the bay of Positano which is called “L’Incanto” (The Enchantment) due to its romantic beauty. By looking below, you will see the picturesque beach of Positano and the sparkling and colorful majolica dome of the Cathedral.
In order to reach the villa from the main street of Positano, where you will see the stop of the local bus, you will have to take a pedestrian street consisting of about 70 steps. You will then reach the secondary entrance of the villa. If you want to reach the main entrance, you will have to climb other 50 steps.
The living room is paved with handmade tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa and an armchair. In this room you will find a television (local channels) and a personal computer. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is a table to seat six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the terrace. The room also has a high window. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
