To the east of town in Contrada Forgia, this interesting beach is not just a spot for sun and surf, but for history, too. That's because there are shells and other embedded fossils in the rocks here, both on the low cliff wall and the rocks around the water. Keep your eyes open for them! It's a great scavenger hunt for kids (and geology-loving adults, too!).

The beach itself is sand mixed with pebbles, and some low reef-like rocks, both on the shore and underwater. The crystalline sea is clear with great visibility, shallow, but look out for those reef pieces.
