San Giorgio Beach is one of the largest and most popular in the area. A long strip of soft golden sand extends along the coast with plenty of space, especially long pieces of free beach. There are services though, including sections that rent umbrellas and chairs, if you prefer a more comfortable day at the sea. They also offer food and beverages, or you can bring your own picnic to enjoy. An underwater break-wall off the shore helps minimize the waves so it's also good for children. There is almost always a nice breeze, so it doesn't feel stifling hot. The breeze combined with the more open areas at the ends (without the break walls) makes those areas popular with windsurfers and kite-surfers.

San Giorgio is just south of Sciacca and Sovareto.
