Ristorante Torre Al Sasso

In the wooded hills near Pontassieve, this old castle is a restaurant that brings clients from Florence and other surrounding towns to enjoy the ambiance and the good food. The outdoor terrace with its beautiful view is unbeatable in the summer, while the enormous fireplace warms the interior salon with a welcoming glow in the winter.

Enjoy the tasty Tuscan specialties, like the antipasto plate of the area's cheeses, salami and crostini with pate. Or go straight to the hearty pasta, like pici, with satisfying sauces. The main courses feature those Tuscan favorites like the grilled Fiorentina steak or a satisfying stew. Desserts are made in-house and worth waiting for!

The restaurant is open from Thursday through Sunday (closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

Thursday and Friday for dinner (7:30 PM til 10:30 PM)
Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner (12:30 PM til 2:30 PM and from 7:30 PM til 10:30 PM)
